Anyways, my BFF invited me to the waterpark tomorrow. Thing is, I'm on my period. I use tampons but it would kinda be awkward walking to the bathroom just flashing a tampon for the whole world to see... Also I wouldnt just bring my bag to the bathroom, because that would look weird, just wearing a bikini but holding a bag. I don't think we'd stay longer than 8 hrs, and id wear a heavy tampon, but I would still probably change it at least once so it doesn't leak... Should I go? And if I do, how should I make it not embarrassing?




Hey girlie,

Totally go! It's not embarrassing at all to have to use the bathroom, or even to change your tampon. Chances are, sooo many other girls there are also on their periods and doing the exact same thing! Use a heavy tampon and try to go halfway through the day so you don't leak. Could you stop by your locker (or wherever your bags are being kept while you're at the waterpark) for a "hair tie," then grab a tampon too? Stash it under your towel/behind your sunglasses in your hand, then walk casually into the bathroom. There are all sorts of ways to hide it, but you shouldn't feel embarrassed - it's a normal thing! The most important thing is that you go and have fun Smile

I used to absolutely HATE reading till 7th grade and so these and Nancy Drew books were the only books I would ever even think about reading! This seems soo cool!
