Sandal season is officially here! Get those tootsies in
tip-top shape with our super-cinchy DIY pedicure tricks. No more waitin’ around
at a pricy salon—you can get pretty piggies at home.
1. Soak your feet.
Remove any lingering nail polish. Then, Break out a bucket
or fill the tub with warm water. Squirt in some lavender-scented soap or a foot
soak. Splash around for 10-15 minutes to soften your skin.

2. Buff it up.
We’re suckers for scrubs but, let’s be honest, they can get
expensive. Follow our recipe and whip up a sweet foot treat in your kitchen.
Slather it on and totally blast away dead ‘n’ dry skin (blech). Then, rinse
your feet and pat them dry with a towel.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons light oil, such as almond, canola, or
sunflower
2 tablespoons milk
Directions
Mix together a:ll the ingredients into a smooth cream.
3. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
Right now, we’re beyond hooked on shea butter creams.
Massage some into your peds (it’s OK if they’re still a little damp—you’ll lock
in more moisture that way).

4. Prep your nails.
This step is sooo key! Use some nail polish remover to clean
your nail beds. It’ll help your polish stick like glue. Then, swipe on base
coat. Never, ever skip it (that’s like asking for chips).

5. Polish up.
Now it’s time to slap on two thin coats of polish. We’re all
about blues and greens right now, but classic coral is perf for this time of
year, too.
