I just came home from school and my period leaked everywhere! On my bed sheets while I was sleeping on my undies on my pjs and on the pants and underwear I wore to school. How do I get the blood stains out?

How can I know when my period is coming? Occasionally, I get a few days of heavy discharge but most of the time it sneaks up on me like a ninja! I usually soil a pair or two of underwear beyond cleaning because I have an extremely heavy flow, like way heavy. How can I know?
Also, how can I find time to change my pad or tampon during school? We only have two minutes between classes and whenever I walk away from the table alone people ask where I'm going. If I say "The bathroom." they come with me! School's over in a few days so I won't have to worry but I'm still fretting about next year.

Periods come about every 28 days, so paying attention to the dates you have it can help you plan better for next time. If you're late to class, you could always apologize to the teacher afterward and say you had a female situation, or something like that. They will understand! You could also go to the bathroom in the middle of class and bring a pad / tampon with you discreetly.
