Adorable summer date ideas

Dinner and a movie? Yawn! Picnic in the park? It's totally been done before. Forget the predictable get-togethers with your cutie. Here are some memorable date ideas that are super creative.
Plan an Olympic Date – Put together the most epic sporting event ever for you and your date. Plan a day full of games like basketball, Scrabble, cards, tennis, you name it! Tell him it’s a competition for your affections.
Karaoke Krazy – Compile a list of his favorite songs and get microphones for the two of you to karaoke to. He’ll think it’s adorable that you love his favorite songs and you’re not afraid to be silly.
Explore the Unknown – Find a type of food, cuisine, or unusual meal that two of you have never tried. Prepare yourself or pick it up from a local restaurant. Either way he’ll be impressed to see that you’re not afraid to try new things.
Arcade Date – One of the best places to go with a date is to an arcade. Have a fun and flirty contest while you're there: Whoever wins gets to buy dinner. He’ll be sure to love your competitive side and seeing you after the arcade!
Sandcastle Cuties – Take him to the sand and build sandcastles with him of your dream place to live. He’ll love to see your creative side and the both of you will enjoy being outside.
Festival Fever – Festivals are a summer must, especially with a date! Find the nearest festival and take him to go shopping, walk around, and see local musical acts. It's a totally fun and unique way to spend time together.
Take him for a hike – If you have a nice day ahead, invite him along for a scenic hike. Not only will you spend time in nature, but it’s a great way to exercise and enjoy each other’s company.
Instead of the typical dinner and a movie date… – Find the nearest drive-thru movie theater and then stop at a local diner after. A super cute and old-fashioned date night is ideal - especially when the weather is nice!

Musical Mates – Learn how to play a new instrument. Help each other to learn something new while bonding over a love of music!
