MOD! MOD! Ok, so me and my BGF (also who I like) have been amazing friends for a while. We can tell each other anything. But things get complicated between us. One night he texted me and asked if I wanted to go to a movie with him then on Thanksgiving, he asked me if I liked to which I told him yes, and he said he kinda likes me back. When I bring back up that situation, he gets all jumpy and aggravated. and he said a couple weeks ago, he may have a girlfriend soon. then he said he is getting me something from disney. i'm confused. please help. does he like me or are we just friends to him?

okay , i like this guy in a grade below me. I never talked to him , i just find him very attractive. but i have never talked to him before. sadly. I always see him in the halls, but i have no classes with him (obviously). he might like me back , because my friend Taylor said he looked at her , then looked at me and smiled at the football game. What do you think that means? And do you think i have a chance with him ? i know that he plays football, he is the QB (; but i told 3 people in my school that I like him. 2 out of the 3 were like "YOU GUYS WOULD BE PERFECT TOGETHER!!!!" and the other friend did completely the opposite. Try talking to him--even though you guys don't have class together, there could be many opportunities to talk that you are missing out on! When you see him in the hall, shoot him a smile or wave, gradually increase to asking how he is, etc. and take things from there Smile

Continued from last comment. sorry told you it was gonna be long!

When I first walked up he was staring at me. The next day I walked past his tent and he looked out at me. I have a feeling he likes me but idk. My family found out because I cant lie and when asked I started smiling and laughing :/. Later on my brother told me that the boy I like burps and farts a lot :/ gross. Hes also 6"1 and 250 some pounds so hes kinda fat :/ ALSO hes a highschool football player (linebacker). I told my friend who at first told me to talk to him and she said to just forget about him because he "probably has lots of friends and a girlfriend" Frown I almost cried when she said that but she doesnt even know him. My brother and male cousin said the age difference is fine (about 3 and a half years). My dad pretty much said he is adult size and gross and I shouldnt like him but I cant help it!! My parents are separated. My mother doesnt like the idea of me dating, and my father says it absolutely not allowed. this guy i like likes me back, and i could really see us dating in the near future. I am worried though that we wont be able to spend enough one on one time together, because my mom wont let us unless we are in a group, and if my dad sees me hanging with him at school he could get suspicious. Hey girly!

     Even if you are seeing him in group situations, that's not the end of the world. Try just sitting next to him when you and your friends go out to eat to get some one-on-one time. I know it may seem hard, but you can def make group situations work by finding ways to get near him, like sharing a bumper car or suggesting a group study sesh where you two are paired together. You don't want to disobey your parents' rules though, so try sticking to group situations and you'll show your parents that you can be trusted with a boy. Hope that helps! x0x0

so ive been with my BF for a week and hes really sweet and funny and cute. we had our first kiss yesterday (my first ever, not his though) and it was adorableee and we spent like the whole day together before that and we are the type of couple who can sit in silence just with our arms around each other and not talk and just enjoy each other. its not akward at all. its the same way whenever we are in person or if we video chat together. but when we text its soooo akward, like we have nohting to talk about or if i have a convo going hell just give 1 word answers!! what can i do to get past this??

 

Hey Girlie! It sounds like you've got a keeper! Maybe he just doesn't like to text? You can casually ask him sometime, like, "hey, what's with the one word replies?" If this is the only flaw is his character, I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker. Good luck!

Hey girl, I wouldn't judge your BF too much from a text message. It can be very hard to get your guy's real tone from a text message or written words. I'd call him and see what's up. Ask him why it's awkward and hear him out -- he may have a good reason. If things are a little too heated tonight, talk to him about it tomorrow and give him some space. He may just be stressed and chances are super bummed he can't go too. I don't think he's doing this to upset you.

Okay, so this guy I like told me he liked me last month and we've been flirting and texting and that kind of stuff, Yesterday school ended and that means we might not see eachother again because next year we start High school and we are going to two different high schools. Well he told me we should hang out this summer and I asked him what we should do, and he told me. I know the label is important to a lot of us (being someone's girlfriend or being in a relationship), but you like him because of him, right? If he's offering to hang out and chat over the summer, try it out! That means that, even with your money differences and his preference not to have a GF, he still wants to get to know you better and be around you. Try to appreciate that and just see how it goes. If you really want to be more than friends after a little while, bring it up again. Obviously if he's really against it and you NEED that label, it isn't gonna work out. But don't give up the chance to have an awesome summer with him before you even give it a shot Smile

I really like my BGF, and he knows it. He used to have a GF but now I'm almost positive he doesn't (cuz he went to prom with another girl as friends and was trying to decide if he wanted to date her, but decided he didn't want to.) So we were texting back and forth for more than an hour one day and finally I'm just like, "You know we should hang out over the summer sometime it would be fun! MOD!!! I used to date this guy, but then he started being very innapropriate and he started threatening me. So I broke up with him. But now my bestfriend is saying she is in love with him, and is always talking about him when im around. Ive told her that it makes me feel uncomfortable, but she wont listen. How can i deal with it without losing my best friend?




Hey girlie. Have you told her what happened between you and him? Sometimes girls have to experience things for themselves and can't take other people's word for it. Try to give her time and talk with her about it more. Good luck.

MOD MOD MOD! So my crush just asked me out my mum said i am too young for a BF but that we can go on a date. He is totally fine with that, but we haven't really moved forward from there. since he asked me out should he be the one to make a move on going on a date? i know he still likes me, cuz last night me and a bunch of my friends went to watch a movie at a friends house, he was there and we sat next to each other. he inched his hand closer, and before a knew it we were holding hands! him and my mums both saw when they came to pick us up, and now my whole fam is teasing me, gotta love fam! but if you can please help! thank you

If he hasn't made the move yet, he probably is a little bit shy. There's nothing wrong with sending a text saying something like, oh there's this movie that I would really like to check out. Give him a hint as to what you want to do. If he doesn't take it, then there is nothing wrong with saying, would you like to see it with me? He might really appreciate your being so upfront.

MOD MOD MOD! I was planning on working out everyday this summer,I wanted to lose 20 pounds by August 5. But I will have a fever and a cough for atleast another week,what should I do?

Hey girly,

Sorry to hear about the fever. My best advice is to take a break and rest. This will help you get better faster and ready to get back to the gym. Don't try to rush it. Working out when you're sick could make it worse.

MOD! so i like this one guy , but he's three years older than me . and he said that we shud go to the movies . but my mom totally wouldn't go for it with out some friendss . how can i change her mind . i'm thirteen and this totally seems impossible . thanks so much!

The best advice I have is to just be mature about it and have a plan. Think about the different reasons that she might have a problem and come up with some solid answers to those problems that will make her feel more comfortable with letting you go on this date alone. Also be willing to compromise. Maybe some friends can come, but who says that they have to be sitting in the same row as you?
