My BF just broke up with me yesterday, and he’s already met someone else. Why has he moved on so fast?
 
Dave: At least he got a good night’s sleep before dating again. Everyone deals with breakups differently. Some cry in their Cokes for months, while others jump into new relationships. Admittedly, 24 hours is brief, but it probably has nothing to do with you. Take his cue, and move on. That doesn’t mean you have to hitch up with the first guy who comes along, but nothing productive comes from dwelling on a done deal. 
 
Bill: Despite our bravado, guys can be a lot more insecure than girls. Chances are he wasn’t getting the kind of adoration from you that we guys love—so he picked the next item off the shelf as soon as he could. But quick picks often come from the bargain bin and don’t last.

Ok, so I just found out that my bgf Tyler likes this bratty blonde named Megan. I totally want to be happy for him, but I have started t like him over the time we've been friends. Now that it's summer, I have noo idea what to do. His dad owns a car shop near my house, so I can visit him a lot but that won't change the way he feels or Megan. What am I supposed to do?




Hey girl, just be you. Respect his feelings for Megan now but hint to him you might be interested in him too and see how he reacts. As for Megan, don't smack talk her. Be the girl he'd want to have: one that brings people up, not puts them down even if those mean traits about Megan are true.

Is it weird to feel like you need to move on from a relationship? It sometimes just feels like we are going nowhere and it seems like he doesnt meet my needs. But then he will do things that make me think otherwise. Part of me feels bad for feeling this way.
I want more romance and intimacy with him but it seems like he doesnt. Even my mom notices that he is just like another friend and not a real bf. My dad is happy its that way but I am not so I am wondering what to do.

No, this isn't weird at all - I promise! All relationships have ups and downs, but sometimes when a relationship has a lot of these "unsettling" moments, it might be a sign that it isn't right for you. You just have to listen to yourself and how you feel about him - if you see him more as a friend most times, then maybe that's what he should be. You want someone who is a friend and who you are attracted to, can flirt with, and who you ultimately love as a significant other. And there's nothing wrong with that! In fact, it's more fair to be honest about it if things aren't that way. That way, you both can move on and find people who work better with you <3

i really have no idea what to talk about with my crush online. any ideas? its summer so i cant really talk about school so ya..
also i have a really low confidence because of my adhd and depression/anxiety. what can i do to help this?

 

Hey girl, 

 You can try asking him what his vacation plans are this summer and what he has been doing. Ask if he has seen any good movies lately. To help boost your confidence, try doing activities that make you feel good about yourself or try to learn something new! Also start each day thinking about three things you like about yourself.
