the brand new Disney Channel series
A.N.T.
Farm,
which premieres this Friday,
June
17, at
8:30
p.m. ET/PT.
The
show centers around a group of middle school prodigies in a high
school world and, heh, we can only imagine the mayhem that will
ensue. We recently had the chance to chat with China and had her dish
on everything from juicy show deets to fellow Disney star Selena
Gomez. Check it out.
GL:
Tell us a little bit about your character Chyna in A.N.T
Farm.
China:
She’s a
very confident and loyal person who plays like 13 different
instruments. She’s not afraid to be herself, and that’s what I
love about her.
As
you mentioned, Chyna’s very musically inclined. What’s one of
your most-played songs on your iPod right now?
“Dynamite”
by Taio Cruz because it’s upbeat. I love to dance along to it.
The
A.N.T.s in the show are very talented. Do you have any hidden talents
of your own?
I
actually draw. My mom is a really good artist, and I think I kind of
got it from her. She draws random stuff and I just copy her.
If
you could share your favorite summer memory what would it be?
My
entire family, including some of my friends, went to Disneyland. How
ironic? So we all went and we got to go on Soaring Over California.
That’s the greatest ride ever.
You’ve
been spotted with fellow Disney star Selena Gomez. What’s your
favorite thing about her?
She
is the nicest person. Even though she’s super duper famous, she’s
not like ‘Give me my latte.’
If
you could cover any of her songs right now, which would it be?
“A
Year Without Rain” because it’s beautiful. I love upbeat songs
that start off slow.
