Last week, 15-year-old Alyce Pyne got a big surprise. The blog she had started detailing her bucket list for a few friends and family went viral. Her number one wish? To make everyone sign up to be a bone marrow donor.

You see, Alice has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. This U.K. sweetie has been fighting the disease for nearly four years and says she doesn’t think she’s gonna win this war, but she’s still trying her hardest to make a different. Sure, she wants to swim with sharks and have a private movie party with her besties, but topping her bucket list is the desire to help others battling cancer.

Thanks to the followers she’s gained so far, donations have been pouring in to sponsor Alice’s sister in a race benefiting cancer research. But you don’t even have to give a dime to make Alice’s greatest wish come true. Thanks to the support of DKMS Americas, you can get swabbed for free. While bone marrow donors must be 18 and older (in addition to other restrictions), that doesn’t mean tweens and younger teens can’t get involved. Ask your parents and older family members to register for a free do-it-yourself cheek swab kit. Host a bone marrow donor block party or get together with a few buds and throw a bone marrow donor drive at a local community center.
