Pottermore: Mystery unveiled?


 
Potterheads across the ‘Net have been whispering about J.K. Rowling’s latest secret: a website called Pottermore. Since its debut, the site has featured a “coming soon” message signed by the author herself, but there’s been no word about what this site really is. Until now.

 

Rumors have been flying: Is it an HP encyclopedia? An interactive fan site? A game? Today, several British newspapers, led by The Guardian, announced that they have received a leaked press release detailing the site’s function. It’s said to be a web-based game that will take players on a hunt for magic wands.

 

Jo will make an official announcement about the site in London tomorrow morning. Her YouTube channel shows a live countdown overseen by a plethora of animated owls.

 

So what do you think, babes? New stories in the HP universe? Chat rooms and forums? A game? What shape do you think this mystery will take?
