Tune in to Women's World Cup soccer!


 
It’s game time! Yep, the Women’s World Cup has officially kicked off and we’re beyond psyched. Team USA’s first game is Tuesday, June 28th against The Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea (Korea DPR). Tune your TVs to ESPN at 11:30 a.m. EST, throw on your O’Reilly jersey and start cheering.
 
According to USA Today, the U.S. team has a pretty good shot at winning. Our major competition is Brazil, Sweden, and Norway. This year, the gals are a mix of more experienced players and younger ones full of excitement, passion, and energy. This combination will definitely play to our advantage.  With players like Christie Rampone (the oldest at age 36) and Alex Morgan (the youngest player on the roster at age 22) we can and should expect a lot from all of these women. Hopefully they can bring home the title!
 
What do you soccer players and soccer fans think? Are you as excited as we are about the Women’s World Cup 2011? Who are your favorite players and role models?

See next yr im gonna be a freshman at high skool or in other words a minor niner so i liked to get involved in school stuff so do yu think itd be wrong if i joined lik rugby and wrestling cause im mite be interested




Hey girl, you might not be able to join wrestling because it's typically limited to guys, but definitely go for rugby. Getting involved is a great idea no matter what grade you are in at school.

ok so tomorow i am trying out for the #1 team in my leauge for soccer and i am super nervous cause i was on the 2nd place team for 1 session i got a backpack nd stuff and i just switch to a better team the reason for that is they are gonna be playing harder teams cause they ar moving up and i thought i could grow better as a soccer player and i feel really bad for my other team cause they said how gratefull they are for me and they are losing me and two other girls and i need advice please




hey! you have to do what's right for you. if you think you'll have less fun on the better team you should stick with the one you're on. good luck!
