Will protein make my boobs grow?


 
I'm 13 and really flat-chested. Is anything I can do to speed up my development? I'm a really picky eater, and my mom thinks if I eat more protein it will help. Is this true, and is their anything else I can do?

 

Unfortunately, babe, there’s no sure-fire way to make your boobs grow (or shrink). While some sources do argue that protein can increase breast size, there’s no way to know for sure. However, consuming lean protein promotes cell growth within your body.

 

On a chemical level, protein is the foundation that your entire body is built upon. While your body might not be genetically predisposed to grow the boobs your yearning for, eating that protein will definitely help keep you in tip-top shape. Look for it in lean meats, poultry, dairy products, eggs, beans and soy products. Yum!

Ok!! I am 12, will be 13 in July. I still wear like, a 30 or 32 A and some of my friends wear a C cup. I feel so darn awkward around them!! And this is awkward too....would you recommend any bras that would make my chest seem fuller? Most guys at my school only care about boobs and stuff ( I go to a private Christian school...there are perverts EVERYWHERE) and I'm afriad no one will want to ask me out to a dance or something. Are there any foods you can eat that will store up fat in your chest too? Sorry for the length, but HEEELLLLPP!!

 

Theres no special treatment to get bigger boobs. Plus I know it seems like its a huge deal, but it really isnt. Who cares they have big boobs? I have big ones and I really don't even care. My best friend has A cups and there are so many shirts and dresses she can wear that are ADORABLE that look super lame on me. Embrace it girl. You're honestly really lucky. You have some awesome clothing options. Also don'y care what the perverts care about. More often than not theyre only interested in the boobs and thats definitely NOT something you want. Same! The only ones left in my grade are a few tall thin ones like me and then the young ones. I just turned 13 and I'm a 32A. And that article with the eight year old? She's 8, I doub't anyone has boobs and if they do I blame the hormones in milk!

Okay so i have like really small boobs (A36) and i'm 14 but my mom sisters and my grandma had d's at my age is their something wrong with me? and is their a way to make them grow? i'm i worried they wont grow because i started my period in February so i only have a little over 2 months till they stop..is that true?

There's no way to make your boobs grow - you just have to wait for your bod to do what it is naturally designed to do. Remember that you're 14, so you still have years of puberty ahead of you. They could get bigger in that time! But your family history isn't a guarantee that your boobs will get bigger. Nature could've just given ya 36A's! And that's awesome - you totally have to love the bod you've got. You only get one! <3

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD i am 14 years old and i used to be 5'4 and 115 pounds. my boobs were normal and growing. still pretty small but not something i worried about. this year i got obsessed with weight loss and tried dieting...alot. in the summer i accidently let my weight drop to 100 pounds but now i am 105...eating and living healthier. the problem is my boobs got noticibly smaller and i heard anorexics can never get their boobs back to the size they were. i never got to the point of anorexia but can this still apply to me. are my boobs going to stay small foreever and never once again reach the size they were??? im really worried. thanks for the help in advance

 

Hey chica, if you don't gain anymore weight they'll probably remain their current size. But no worries, all body sizes are beautiful!!! Some of the most gorgeous celebrities have small chests, Beyonce, Rihanna, Aaliyah, Charlize Theron, Naomi Campbell, etc. Smile

Whoa, this sounds just like me. What did you do, read my mind?? Anyway, I'm small too (as in, thirteen and still using flat bras -.-) I don't even fit in cups. It sucks. But, what can we do about it? I'l try eating more protien, I guess.

1)is it true your breasts only have to years to grow after you get your first period?
2)can you grow taller after your first period because I'm only 5'3 and a half and i really want to get taller

 

Hey girl,

1. It is true that they only continue to grow for a certain amount of time, and the peak years are during puberty. But the amount of time they'll grow after that (aka how long ya gotta wait to know what size yours will be) varies from chica to chica!


2. You can definitely grow taller! A lot of girls get "growth spurts" during puberty but your growth doesn't necessarily stop there. Doctors say that girls reach their adult heights at 18 years old!

There's nothing wrong with you. We all develop at different times and have different breast sizes, so we just have to accept what we have.  You can get a bra with a little extra padding to look like you have bigger breasts, but going au natural is great too! x0x0

First off, you WILL attract boys even if you have smaller boobs! Sure, boys are notorious for being in awe of bigger boobs, but that's not the only thing that matters...even to them. Make up for it with confidence, a sense of humor, and a sparkling personality - you'll steal the attention away from the "bigger" girls before you know it Smile That all comes from being comfy in your own skin though, so own up to your bod and embrace it for its uniqueness! Your boobs might grow over the next couple years or they might be done - no one can tell for sure. Instead of waiting around for them to come so you can finally be "yourself," get to work on that now! Dress your bod in ways that are most flattering, carry yourself with confidence, and don't be afraid to strike up a convo. You'll do great!

Hey babe! You can wear different bras, like sports bras, to make your boobs look smaller, but they may not have the support you need. You shouldn't care what anyone else says about your body, you should embrace your breasts! Hopefully you can grow to love them. In the future if they are so large that you have back problems or are still uncomfortable with your breast size, there are more drastic measures you can take, but it involves surgery and is a last restort. I am 11 years old and one day I woke up and there was this lump on the right side of my chest and on the other side, nothing. That lasted for about a year and then a few months ago I noticed that There was an even bigger lump on the LEFT side. is this normal????? and I have a bra but its very uncomfertable to wear. But when I dont wear it, you can totally see theses ugly lumps that stick out!! should I wear my bra or not and whats wrong with me!!




Hey girlie, show your mom and ask her about it. It might just be your breast developing, but you should ask someone else about it to make sure there's nothing wrong.

Lots of girls feel insecure with their bods, so you're definitely not alone. There are actually bras you can get that appear to minimize your boob size, and you can also wear shirts that don't show a lot of cleavage. No matter what you decide to do, you shouldn't worry about what other people think. Just be confident, and if a guy only likes you because of them, then its his loss. x0x0

My friends and I sometimes stay up late and have seen those infomercials how special padded bras can make us look bigger and more confident. We never saw any infomercials about protein stuff but they show a lot of ones for guys to take those pills to make their down there part look bigger. One time for a laugh my friends and I watched one.

I wish protein would work because I need help in the chest area. I am hoping something happens soon, and before this coming school year.

I'm your age and TRUST ME I have some pretty small boobs going on... (32A)and I asked the same thing, unfortunatley There us not *anything* you can eat Frown It depends on your genes and hormones, if your mom started developing when she was 14 theres a high chance you will too!

Hey babe! 1) Just because other girls are wearing bras doesn't mean you have too. If you're developing at a different pace that's totally fine, and there's nothing you can do about it. There's no such thing as developing too slowly. You can wear a bra, ask your mom to take you shopping, she'll know what fits you. 2) You are not overweight. That's exactly average for your height. It may make you feel better to work out some, but you definitely don't need to lose weight. Try running like 4 days a week or something. Good luck! xoxo

Hey girl. Breast size can vary depending on hormones and the time of month. Underwire bras are not just for old people, but there are bras with out them. It all depends about what you are most comfortable with.

Hey I have heard that drinking tons of milk will make my boobs grow. I don't know if this is true or not and I would love to know. I have rather small boobs for my age. The whole theory behind the milk idea is that all the excess milk you drink goes straight to your boobs. Please please please tell me whether or not this is true!!! I have tried it before but sometimes I can drink that much milk: it's a lot. HELP!!!

So I have small boobs and it seems like whenever I wear a sports bra or like a training bra my nipples show through, but when i wear a padded bra my boobs look fake and you can really tell. Do you know why this is happening and any good bra brands that offer good coverage without padding?

Try going for a bra that is in between training and fully-padded. This unlined bra from Victoria's Secret offers coverage but no unnatural padding or push-up Smile Try them on before you buy - and try them on with a t-shirt to get an accurate feel for them. Try different stores and brands til you find an unlined (and possibly underwire-less) bra that works for you!

Hey babe! 110 pounds is not overweight, at all. Depending on your height you may even be underweight. To get in shape set up a cardio regiment that you can stick to. Try running for 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. This will be great if you can keep it up! xoxo

Hey babe! You may still be developing which means your boobs stil have a chance to grow naturally, but there is nothing you can do to make your boobs grow. I'm sure a lot of women wish there was a way and would have done it by now. You can get padded and push-up bras to make your boobs look bigger. If your mom is slender too, then it's probably just genetics. You'll just have to love the boobs you have.  xoxo

For some reason, I've had a ton of acne on my upper lip and a little on my chin and the tip of my nose. It's been there for about 4 weeks! I can't get it to go away! I wash my face twice a day and use my prescription medicine as well as some benzoyl peroxide gel for spot treatment. But it still won't go away... what's wrong? And why is it just in that spot?




Try using a face was with salicylic acid (but don't mix it with your prescription meds)

I have acne on my chest and on my face. The acne on my chest isnt very noticeable most of the time, but I just got this HUGE pimple on my chest. It's above where all of my tank tops cut, so it's really obvious. I'm going to the beach next week with a group of my friends, and I'll be wearing a bathing suit most of the time. I've tried several spot treatments, but I can't seem to find one that works.... Any advice??

I went from a 36B to a 36D in a couple months (because I went on birth control) and I'd just bought cute new bras for my former 36B self. so I had to buy all new bras :p It's not that great having a large-ish chest. I can;t count the number of times I've elbowed in the boob since this winter when I had that growth spurt (I would much rather have grown up a few inches instead of out. I'm only 5'2", and I'm completely done growing. -.-)

I think some people think protein makes your boobs bigger because of all the hormones they inject in chicken. Which is probably true. That's why I don't eat store bought chicken because of all the hormones and gross stuff they inject in it.
