Hi Im 13 years old and going into 8th grade this year. All the girls on TV (like on Shake It Up and iCarly) wear heels and I was wondering...can I wear heels like that or is it to luty with an S in front (if you know what I mean)Will people look at me weird? Thanks.




It all depends on your school's dress code and what you and your parents are comfortable with

Okay so, I decided that I was going to throw my friend a birthday party because she never has birthday parties and I love planning them. Only, I'm not quite sure what to do with this one. I'm still debating on whether or not I should have a get-together at my house or if we should go to the mall or movies or something. Also, I don't know who to invite and I don't know whether or not to invite guys. We're not really into sleepovers, so that's a definite no. I thought about having a picnic in my yard or something but I don't know if my friend would like that. Mostly though, I'm lost on how many people to invite and whether or not to invite guys. Everyone is ages 14-17. My friend is turning 15. Thanks for the help!




Hey girl,

Guys can change the whole dynamic of the group, so you kinda have to be prepared for that if you want to invite them. Your friends may feel more comfortable if it's all girls, and the party activities may run a little more smoothly if it's only girls.  A picnic sounds great, especially because it's so nice outside now, and playing kickball is a great sport to play outside and a fun party activity. A bowling party could also be fun, because everyone likes to bowl! Try inviting only her closest friends (I'd say no more than 15-20 people) so that the party doesn't get too out of hand. One of my bffs is annoying me, lets call her A. A wont stop texting me and let me have some alone time. Like my other bff was planning a sleepover with me,her, and A. A needed a ride so I said I would ask my dad if he could take us when he got home, 3 minutes after I said that she would say is it ok? Then 3 more minutes later, is he home? Then, I can't wait! Then, so yes? So then I just stopped replying and after 2 minutes if I didn't reply she would say hellooo???r u going to reply??? .... I'm just getting really annoyed, and I want to stay her friend. What should I do?




Hey girl,

Even though it might be a little uncomfortable, you need to have a talk with her because that's the only way she's going to understand how you feel. You can tell her that you love being her friend, but sometimes you feel like she just texts you way too much and you don't like that. If you're completely honest with her and tell her that you still wanna be friends, hopefully she will understand where you're coming from. Good luck! x0x0
