4 ah-dorable denim dresses

This summer, we’re forever in blue. Yep, our beloved denim is getting’ dressed up (but not too much). These fab frocks are casual enough to rock to a pool party or a picnic. Come fall, add some tights or socks and chunky boots to make it ready for cooler temps.

Is there anything more classic than a strapless dress for summer? Belt it for a more sophisticated look, pair with cowboy boots for a western approach, or throw on a cardi at night.

Kimchi Blue Denim Strapless Circle Dress, $15 (on sale), urbanoutfitters.com

We’re sweet on this dress for all of our summer concerts. Consider sporting it with poppin’ sneakers or over a neon tee.

Material Girl Dress, Sleeveless Sweetheart Chambray Denim Zipper A-Line Sundress, $27, macys.com

A shirtdress done up in faded denim? Love it. The so very versatile style gets boho with a huge beaded necklace and gladiators or preppy with a silk scarf and red canvas sneaks.

Life in Progress Denim Dress, $28, forever21.com

Caution: This frilly number should be worn after dark only (it’s a bit too dramatic for daytime outings). Keep it more darling than daring with floral flats or nude heels.

Ruffled Chambray Dress, $24, nastygal.com
