If you’re trying to cut the oil slick, consider your shower routine. If you’re scrubbing your hair every night, you might want to change it up to every other day. Washing your hair to frequently can encourage the sebaceous glands on your scalp to produce even more oil. Another factor? Your conditioner. Ditch leave-ins that can make your hair limp and oily and try conditioning only the ends. A tea tree oil-based conditioner could also help ya get rid of the grease.

@2cool2bark Hey! Some things that might help are styling mousse or a spray to put in yout hair before you straighen. I use the John Frieda styling creme and it works great! It even helps your hair dry faster when it's super soaked, and it smells good. When my hair is dry, I use TRESemme heat protection spray. It'll protect your hair from the straightener and help keep your hair straighter for a longer period of time. Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions, come to my Advice Queens page (ILoveBigTimeRush1) and feel free to ask any questions you may have(:
