Lost without my BFF

Check these out, too...

  • I have no talents. Why am I so boring?

My BFF and I have been friends since pre-K. Lately, she ignores me for other friends. She rarely invites me over. When I tried talking to her about it, she smiled and walked away. How can I make her understand I’m lonely?

Dear Lost Without a BFF,
I’m sorry you’re feeling lonely. But instead of striving to make your friend understand this, make new friends. Can you meet some girls at the pool or rec center? Who else like to swim or throw Frisbees or go to concerts or whatever it is you do in the summer? Going away for a vacation might also help clear your mind. Is there a camp friend or cousin you can visit? It’s possible you and your BFF will become close again, but when you see her, be upbeat rather than letting her know you feel lost. When you want to get closer to someone, it’s better to seem less needy.

MOD MOD MOD!!
there's this guy at my school and he liked me. we both like each other and flirted alot but we are both shy around each other. i don't know if he stills feels the smae way, he's really popular to. i don't know how to approach him
HELP!! thanks Smile

Hey chica!

Why don't you just walk up to him in the hallway the next time you see him and say hi and smile? If he likes you, he'll at least wave and smile back. If you break the ice, it could lead to him talking to you. xoxox

I was friends with a girl from grades 1 through 6. then she was really nice (she is afraid of being mean) and told these girls that she didnt like that they could hang out with us, well then they became besties and then they pushed me to the side. Last year (7 grade) i was lost without her. I didnt know what to do. that entire group of girls ignored me and just dissed me a ton that year. Now i have found a new group of friends but i just dont want to let go of my bestie. she is the only one of that group that is still nice to me. I don't want to let her go but i don't want to get hurt by her and her vicious friends again like last year. Because they started it then the boys continued the teasing and it still has not stopped. It strikes evveryday. They find something, anything, to nark me about. Let's just say it kinda sorta stinks. I miss the elementary years where it didnt matter what you looked like or the friends you had. Everyone was friends woth everyone! Please Help me!!!!!! :/

MOD MOD MOD
I was in class with my BFF when she started to play with one of my bracelets. I we parted ways and I realized she still had my bracelet; so I asked her for it, but she told me that had lost it. I am really upset now because the bracelet had a lot of sentimental value. This is the second or third time she has lost one of my items, what should i tell her?? THANK YOU!

Hey babe,

Have you checked the lost and found at school and told your teacher about your missing bracelet? And as for your friend, the answer's easy: tell her you can't lend her things anymore because she loses stuff that's important to you. Good luck! xoxox

Hey chicky, don't worry about that girl. It just sounds like she's jealous of your relationship with your boyfriend. Now you know who your true friends are. Just keep your true friends and boyfriends close. Hope this helps! Smile Smile

MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!!!!! I have so much to get of my chest and talk about but no one to tell it to. its having a real affect on me. The one person i trusted the most...i feel betrayed me. I dont what to do.

Hey girly girl! It might be a good idea to start a journal. That way, you can get everything off of your chest and won't feel like anyone is judging you. If you want to talk to a real person, though, I'd talk to a guidance counselor or teacher that you trust at school!
