Our favorite teen queens lit up the red – er, blue – carpet in some dazzling duds on Monday as they posed outside the Teen Choice Awards. While the night was all about the surfboards, we adored the gorgeous gowns parading in front of the paparazzi, and we noticed a major trend: black and white! The darling starlets strutted their stuff in classic colors, showing off some sweet silhouettes and adorable accessories on a background of neutral hues. Here are the four black-and-white ensembles we loved most.

 

Rachel’s ruffles

Although she walked away empty-handed, Rachel Bilson was a fabulous fashion winner. We adore the high neck, fresh hue and sweet silhouette. Her gorgeous soft waves looked better than ever, and those studded shoes? Fierce!

 

Taylor triumphs

Not only did this curly-haired chica walk away with SIX surfboards , she looked oh-so-cute in a classic, Marilyn-esque white halter – with jewel embellishment, of course.

 

The gorgeous Pretty Little Liars star looks great in a mod white and black dress. There’s nothing boring about the abstract shapes and cool cutouts. Looks like someone’s been raiding Aria’s fashion-forward wardrobe.

Vampire Diaries cutie Nina Dobrev looked sweeter than ever in a black and white sundress. Nina pulls off the black-and-white trend with ease and finishes the look with a perfect ponytail and sky-high heels.
