The first couple weeks of school can be crazy stressful. Homework is going to start to pile up and suddenly, all your free time is out the window. One of the ways I de-stress during the school year is by exercising. I love to hit the gym and get in a great cardio workout. I’ve just recently popped these sweet songs on my iPod. They get my super pumped to get in shape!

MOD MOD MOD!
I'm worried that I'm addicted to exercise! It seems like I can never just sit down for a few moments. Whenever I'm reading a book I'm on the floor in a push up position while reading it, and whenever I'm in my room I half to be doing something active like jumping jacks. I literally dance for hours on end, last night I was dancing from 12am to 3 in the morning, no lie! And whenever I can, I do little exercises like push-ups or even yoga poses. I'm worried that I have some kind of disorder or if I just love to exercise. Please help!

MOD MOD MOD!
I need so much help! I can't find any work-outs that won't make me throw up. Even when i was in really good shape, i would throw up after work-out sessions and I think I may have asthma!! My friend says I prob do cuz she has it and almost the same things happen to her, but my parents say that i dont. Some times it feels like it when i get rlly scared. So I have some things to ask help for:
1. Does it seem like i have asthma?
2. What work-outs can i do that wont cause mt to throw up?
3. what are some healthy meals because the food at my school that i buy is soooooooooooo unhealthy
4. I enjoy tennis and dance, but im not sure if i shld try for the teams next yr because of my problems and health
5. Im concerned about my health and weight because most of my friends weigh less than me but they are shorter, what shld i do?
(sorry for so many questions :/ but thx Laughing )


 


 


Hey girly! It sounds like you may be pushing yourself too hard in your workouts. Maybe try something low impact, like swimming, or water aerobics. Or, something fun, like taking a dance class! Also, yoga and pilates are great ways to tone up Smile

MOD MOD MOD! I need help. I've never exercised much but I really want too. I feel like I'm too overweight for my age and height, and all my friends are up to 30 lbs lighter than me. I know I have to exercise more but I really hate it. I'm going into middle school and my mom says I have to try out for at least one sport, but I absolutely hate sports! I've tried soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, track, swimming, and football and I've hated every single one of them. Plus I hate the competition of sports, and all the running around and stuff tires me out too easily. I really want to be healthy but I don't know how. Please help! And sorry that this is long.

 

Hey missy, exercising can be fun! All you have to do is find the right workout routine for you. Maybe jogging, jumping jacks, or running up and down steps will work for you. Listening to music while you workout makes it fun and passes the time by quicker. I don't know what kind of music you're into, but some good exercising songs are Beyonce-Countdown, Rihanna-Only Girl in the World and Katy Perry ft. Kanye West- E.T. Dancing is even exercising! Hey cutie!

Try making a stop at your doctor and explaining the problem for him.  Or pull aside your mom and talk to her about it.  They're your two best bets for finding a solution!  Good luck!
