Generally, no hair removal will permanently damage your skin. However, there are certain precautions you should take to stay safe.
Like any other hair removing cream, Nair or Veet is not advisable for girls with super sensitive skin. If you don’t have sensitive skin, though, you can try Nair or Veet, just be sure to follow the instructions. Doing a test patch on a small area of skin will let you know whether or not the product will irritate you. Leave the lotion on for a minimum amount of time, or else the product can burn your skin. Even if you follow the instructions, Nair or Veet can leave marks like razor burns—don’t worry, they aren’t permanent. Like razor burns, these marks will too fade away.

POSTED IN skin problems, sensitive skin, hair problems, body hair 101, depilatory deets
I used Nair three times. The first time, it worked. The other two, it didn't! Well, you can't blame them. I didn't read the instructions those two times. Well, if I read the instructions correctly one more time and it doesn't work again, I'm prob. gonna throw it away or something.

I would NEVER use Nair!!! I used it and got a chemical burn on my legs! I couldn't sleep or anything!

The only depilatory that worked for me was the Sally Hanson spray on for sensitive skin. Try a little spot to see if it works and don't use any more until it has been 24 hours. If you see red, or anything bad, don't use it. But it has worked fine for me
