Take the Straight But Not Narrow back-to-school pledge!

 
When you hit the halls, you’re probably psyched to see your friends, your crush, even your favorite teachers again. But for many students, BTS means coming face-to-face with bullies and tons of intolerant tweens and teens.

 

Wanna stand up and make a difference? Take the Straight But Not Narrow pledge (along with celebs like Cory Monteith, Avan Jogia and Josh Hutcherson) to support your LGBTQ friends and classmates. Spread the word, and, even better, film your fellow classmates taking the pledge as they walk through the doors on the first day of school. Already started? Set up a table before homeroom or during lunch periods and invite your peers to take (and tape) their pledge.

 

Here it is:

 

“I will do my part to make sure this is a great school year for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you are gay, straight or somewhere in between. Just be you, because it’s all good with me.”

 

You can upload your school’s video to YouTube and then email the link to info@wearsbnn.com or tweet it to @wearesbnn. Put the words SBNN or Straight But Not Narrow in the title!

religion has nothing to do with it, if there is a god out there he/she is forgiving to all, and loves everyone, no matter wut religion they r, or sexuality, there are so many ppl struggling with wanting to be gay and religious, but y wood god give us all we have, and a person to unconditionally love us forever, and not want those ppl in love to spend all eternity together. i dont know what god other ppl worship, but mine is loving and excepting to everyone and i doubt that any god wood hate someone becuz of who they love

i dont agree what they say i dont bully people or any of that stuff but that homosexual stuff is wrong,wrong,wrong,wrong!!!!!!!!!! Smile

this is such a great idea!!!

here on GL the clubs "We R Heros!" and "Cody Simpson: DEFEAT THE LABEL!!" actually deal with stuff like bullying! if you want to help make a change, check out these clubs!!
