4 last-minute tricks for a bikini bod by this weekend

 
Heading to the beach or a Memorial Day pool party? Here’s how to look and feel your best by the weekend. It’s doable, we promise.
 
1. Ditch the “treat” mentality.
It’s easy to get into the habit of treating ourselves at every pass. Aced a tricky homework assignment? Snag a cookie as a bonus. Got through a tough field hockey practice? Have thirds of lasagna—you deserve it. Well, it’s time to put that mentality behind you. Yes, it’s fab when you tackle something tricky, but rewarding yourself with food is a slippery slope.
 
2. Replace processed foods with natural ones.
Buh-bye, granola bars. Hello, apple slices. Eating naturally will help boost your energy and eliminate that post-snack slog. We happen to be sweet on veggie smoothies at the moment.
 
3. Get down with boot-camp style workouts.
To see results, ya gotta put the “work” in workout. Walking is great for girls who are kicking off a program, but if you wanna see real change, you’ve gotta pick up the pace and get down to biz. Here’s a circuit we heart.
 
4. Reach for the water bottle before the fridge.
Our bods often confuse hunger and thirst (ugh). Stay hydrated and you’ll save yourself the vicious snack cycle when a few sips of H2O could’ve done the trick.
