A
Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song
lands on DVD today. Will
you be checking it out? In the flick, you’ll see
Titus
Makin Jr. take on the role
of go-getter DJ Mickey O'Malley.
Eager to
see what this triple threat is all about (he sings, acts AND dances)
we caught up with Titus on the film’s North Carolina set, where we
not only found out this funny guy is actually shy around the ladies,
but he’s experienced “royalty” as well.
He
gets tongue tied around girls. “Mickey
and I are quite alike. When times get rough we make a little joke,
but I’m not as much of a ladies’ man as he is. He flirts with
every girl possible. I’m more like ‘Well, hopefully she’ll come
talk to me…’ I don’t really know what to say.”
He
has his own “evil” sis. “One
time she took it upon herself to invite the girl I was interested in
for dinner and let go of all my things that I do in private (like
burping). To this day, I never let my sister know who I’m
interested in.”
He
had a run in with Victoria Justice. “I
was one of the hired dancers on a few episodes of Victorious.
I ended up doing a flip in a title scene and almost kicked Victoria.
That’s how we met.”
He
was Prom King. “I was
pretty proud of myself. I had fliers all over the walls like ‘Vote
for Titus!’ with me posed and stuff. Funny thing is I came to find
out I was the only one running.”
He’s
a fan of Pink. “The first
song I play when I workout is ‘Get the Party Started’. She gets
[me] started.”
