Am I too young to be in love?



How do I know if I'm in love? My friends always say that they love with their crushes or BFs, but my mom says 13 is too young to be in love. Is she right?
 
Before ya do anything else, as yourself this, chica: am I really old enough to be worrying about love? You're 13, not even in high school yet, and your friends are declaring love for boys that may not even know they exist, or they only hold hands with in the halls? I don't know about you, girlie, but I don't think that sounds like they really love those guys. You should be worrying about acing your classes and having fun with your besties. Guys are wonderful and all, but being truly in love with them shouldn't be your biggest concern right now.
 
Your mom is totes right about 13 being too young to be in love. You haven't completely figured out who you are and what you want in life. Plus, love takes a long time to develop -- not just one week of going out, or seeing your cutie in class for two months. Sure, you can really like a guy and gush to your BFFs about how completely adorable and amazing he is, but love at 13 is totally too young to truly know if you're in love.

Kids don't have a clue what love is! 19 is the age I 'd say you acctually know what love is ;)

Gosh, I think love doesn't have an age.
I fell in love, and I'm 13. And that's for sure. And you just know.
When someone says they "love" someone. They do.
But when you're in love with someone... It means something stronger (I think.)
But I don't think being in love at 13 is impossible.
It really isn't.

my first BF was in 2nd grade and we never offically broke up (me and my friends chased him around the play ground so we counted that as breaking up..... wow..... no wonder im so stange!) and one day we were playing sparkle (that spelling game where one person says a letter and the next etc.) and my hands were in my pockets and i felt something in my pocket it was the note he gave me saying he liked me it had gone through the wash a ton of times and it was just crinkled and i recycled it(mother nature need love!... even if it is dead.) and now i regret it , i dont like him but he put hard work into that (it had little hearts!) and i could show it to my children (i will most likely say it was from highschool though not 2nd grade.) LOL
