whole weeks of hair you can easily do for school! Over the next three
days, we’re giving ya 25 gorgeous new styles (OK, some
oldies-but-goodies are thrown in there, too) to take the guesswork
outta how to get good hair before catching the bus. Finally! Here
are the first 8 must-try 'dos.
1. Blake’s messy braid
How-to: Part hair on the side
and gather all your hair over to one shoulder. Take a 3-inch section
of hair and braid, finishing with a clear elastic. Gather the rest of
your hair into a larger, looser braid, and add the smaller braid on
top. Combine both braids with one elastic at the end.
2. Double French Braids
How-to: Get directions for the
classic French

then change it up by parting hair on the side and creating two
pigtail French braids. Finish with elastics or cute ribbons. Perfect
for practice!
3. Braided top knot
How-to: Lightly tease hair all
over and add a beach spray to add some extra texture and thickness.
This’ll help keep the braid in place! Gather all your hair into a
high ponytail and secure with an elastic. Braid your pony, and then
wrap it around into a bun. Finish with bobby pins.

4. Lauren’s ladylike low bun
How-to: Start with a middle part. Pin back a small section on each side (tip: use pins that match your hair color to camoflauge them!). Then, gather the rest of your hair at the base of your neck. Twist into a tight bun and pin in place. Pull a few face-framing pieces loose for a romantic look.
5. Bitty braids
How-to: Get a boho feel by taking a teeny section of hair and creating a tiny braid, securing with a little elastic. Add 4-6 throughout your tresses, starting both on top of your head and underneath your hair.
6. Sleek and straight
How-to: Embrace your inner
Kardashian and try out the bold middle part for a day. Use a comb to
make it razor-sharp, and add a thermal heat protector to hair.
Straighten ends with a ceramic flat iron to get a super sleek look.
7. Try a hair crown!
How-to: You saw them in the
October/November issue, but we just can’t get enough! Try one worn
as a regular headband with a low, tousled pony, or leave hair down
and wear across your forehead.
8. Rachel’s mostly half-up look
How-to: Gather the top section of your hair to the back of
your head and create a small twist. Pin twist in place. Pull front
sections of your hair out of the style, and fix any strays in
position with a spritz of hairspray.
