The final part of our hair how-to series is here at last! Try out these 9 twists, braids and coifs that are just as sweet as the first and second installments.

17. 2-second twist

How-to: Part hair as normal. Pull back a small 1-inch section of hair at the front of your forehead, above the temple. Twist the section and pin back with two crisscrossed bobby pins.

River Island Feather and Heart Hair Clips, $7 (on sale), asos.com

18. Twist and braid

How-to: Part hair in the center. Twist back a 1-inch section of hair on either side and pin in place. Braid the end of each twisted section and secure with a hair elastic, so you have one face-framing bitty braids on each side. Pretty!

19. Sneaky side part

How-to: Our October/November cover girl looks super glam in a sleek side part. Keep the hair out of your face by pinning it behind your ear, just like Victoria. Spray a bit of hairspray on your palm and smooth over the pinned section to take care of any flyaways.

20. Tie a knot

How-to: You’ll have to have long locks to pull this off, but the effect is quite cool. Spritz in some texturizing spray to give hair some grip. Pull hair into a low side pony, but don’t secure with an elastic. Twist lightly and create a loop to pull the ends through as if you were tying a knot. Pull tight and add bobby pins for extra support.

Sally Hershberger Genius Spray Wax for All Hair Types, $12, ulta.com

21. Dianna’s side-swept bangs

How-to: Got bangs? If you normally wear them straight across your forehead, try brushing them over to one side in conjunction with a side part like Dianna. Spritz flexible hold hairspray into your palm and smooth over bangs to keep them in place. Gels or wax can make bangs look heavy (read: greasy).

Living Proof Straight Hair Spray, $29, ulta.com

22. Pink streak

How-to: The night before school, use a clean mascara wand to paint a section of hair (try one underneath that’ll peek out) with pink hair dye, following dye instructions. So fun!

Cotton Candy Pink Classic Cream Formula, $13, manicpanic.biz

23. Loose pigtails

How-to: Try a casual take on the sweet classic. Part hair in the center, then loosely divide into two equal sections. Tie each section into a low ponytail using a piece of leather cord or a ribbon.

24. Crimp it

How-to: Use a mini-crimping iron to crimp small sections of hair all over your head, both top and bottom layers. Loosen up hair all over with fingers to get a shaken out rocker-chic effect.

Conair CS68P MiniPro Crimping Iron, $16, amazon.com

25. Loose, low chignon

How-to: We love Lucy’s low twist for lazy school mornings. Simply part hair on the side, pull back into a low messy bun at the nape of your neck, and pin to keep it in place. Skip the hairspray and let a few pieces fall loose.

MOD MOD MOD: I always see "How-To" articles for hairstyles, and they always say something about buns or chignons. My hair is a little longer than shoulder-length, red, and really thick. It refuses do a bun. U-pins won't stay in my hair, and the bun always just hangs off my head really weird. I'd really love to wear buns or chignons, but I don't know how. Help?

Hey girl, that's a toughie. When my hair was that short, I could sometimes scrunch my hair into a low side bun, but high buns were tough. Experiment with height and see what you can do. Reinforce with ponytail holders.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD,
I have two questions. Is the pink hair dye semi-permanent? If so, how many shampooings does it last for? And is it damaging?
Also, why don't my comments show? I posted 2 yesterday right here and they have not showed up yet.
Thank You! <3

Hey chica!

I'm sorry it's taking a while for your comments to show up...the mods have to approve everything that everyone comments on here, and when lots of people write things at once, it can get pretty time consuming for us! The pink hair dye lasts for about a month (so it is semi-permanent) and isn't damaging.  xoxox!

MODMODMODMOD!
Sorry if this is random for this article LOL. I had a baby hamster who i LOVED for a year and a half but we had to move and give her away. I was devastated! My sister and brother had hamsters for a while before me and when their hamsters died it was SO sad I was crying and everything! Okay so my question is this. I was thinking about getting another hamster because my life feels like uncomplete without a hamster buddy at my sidetable but i dont know if my little heart can take it passing away or be having to very slimly but a lil possible chance for moving. help help plz post

Hey babe!

I think that if your life feels incomplete without a hamster, then it's better to get one than to not have one at all (as long as mom and dad approve). Would you ever not date a guy because you thought you would eventually break up? Would you ever stop your friendship with your best friend because she's going to die one day? Never! Unfortunately, death and moving are part of life, but these experiences can only make you stronger. You can handle it if it happens again! Good luck! xoxo
