Cody
Simpson is back with an
even better EP than the first! We know, we know, we didn’t think it
was possible either, but this six-track album will definitely put a
smile on your face. With an early listen to his new songs, we want to
give you a heads up on just what to expect from
Coast
To Coast, which
released today!
“Good
As It Gets” – As soon
as this song starts you’ll start bouncing along to the beat. Cody
takes on a Justin Timberlake persona with his pop/hip hop feel, and
makes sure you know he’s one of the best you’ll find (and we
believe it!).
“Crazy
But True” – The blonde
cutie definitely shows he can sing all types of songs in this upbeat
confession. We’ve found ourselves comparing it to Colbie Caillat
with its positive energy and reggae-like rhythm.
“On
My Mind” – This one’s
been a hit on Radio Disney, and it’s no surprise why. With a little
slower sound than the other tracks, Cody gives us his own version of
what a love song should sound like. There’s no denying this song
keeps him on our mind!
“Not
Just You” – For all
those girls with a broken heart, the teen heartthrob admits break ups
aren’t easy for the guy either. “Not Just You” is a
heart-wrenching ballad that will have you drooling for this Aussie
even more than you already were.
“All
Day” – Although it’s
on his first EP too, we still can’t get enough of this song. It’s
a playful tune that defines Cody’s placement in the teen pop
industry. Our hips can’t help but swing when “All Day” comes
on…and just wait ’til you see Cody dance to it!
“Angel”
– We’re starting to
think this kid might just be perfect. He’s back in that reggae
feel, and we can’t help but remember his Australian roots. There is
just no denying Cody’s sweet personality after listening to this
one.
