Fact or fiction: Butter makes your breasts grow

 
I’m only eight and my boobs are really small. My mom almost bought me a bra, but then said she’d wait until they were bigger. I want them to grow now! Will rubbing butter on them work?

 

I hate to break it to ya, babe, but rubbing butter on your boobs will only make them seriously greasy. Save the Land O’Lakes for a batch of brownies and let your body grow at its own pace. I know it’s frustrating to see your friends and peers developing faster than you, but there’s nothing you can do to speed up puberty. You’ve simply gotta suck it up and wait for your bod to change. Don’t worry! It’ll come soon enough.

You are only eight dont worry i got my first bra at nine and my period at ten so but dont worry because after you get your first bra because that is usally the first step in puberty you will have to start shaving and eventually get your period so it is not all that fantastic to get puberty and dont worry

If you feel like you're ready for a bra well then you need to tell her that. Just don't simply say
''My friends have bras. I want some.'' You need to calmly explain to her why you want a bra - Do you feel uncomfortable, do you feel insecure you need to tell her why you want one. Maybe to start ask her if you can get a training bra - in fact, I started wearing a training bra when I was eight because I just felt really uncomfortable and insecure ( and I have huge boobs).

Sweetie, I'm 13 and I still barely have any boobs! You can save those worries for later...now, just focus on having a blast with your friends and enjoying your time. When you get to seventh grade, you won't have any time to have a blast with your friends (on weekdays, at least!) <3

Umm, I wasn't even wearing a bra until around the middle of 5th grade and I barely had anything until this year, I'm 13. Hon, you're eight. What is that, 3rd or 4th grade? In 3rd/4th grade my biggest worry was if I had done my homework and which friend was coming over...now 7 & 8 year olds are running around with iPhones, Uggs, Hollister, push-up bras, and boyfriends...

Because my so-called "friends" (I somehow befriended the popular crowd, I was being used) told me "Girl, you NEED a bra" and "Don't you wear one?" embarrassing because it was on the bus for all the little 4th, 3rd, and 2nd graders to hear, embarrassing!!!!!!!!

im 12 and a half and im a 34d already. my mom made me get a sports bra to "hold my boobs in" and i had to get an extra large! I feel like how fast im growing isnt natural, this time last year i was still trying to be big enough to fit in a 34a, over like a month i grew from being a c to a d! and also im consernd i wont grow much more cuz im only 5foot 1inch and sence my boobs are that big my mom said i probs wont grow much more, and ive had my period for almost a year.

Your mom is right, you're probably almost done growing! I wouldn't worry too much about your size. The most important thing is to get a bra that fits you well, supports you, and lets you live your life normally. A sports bra probably doesn't have enough support, so go for a cup bra with underwire in your size!

I know you want a magic remedy to make those boobs blossom, but unfortunately you just have to give it time! You're in the middle of puberty right now so there's a lotta growing left for your bod to do. Try to be patient and don't judge yourself to hard - embrace what you've got right now and work it, girl!

You'll be FINE! The piercing happens so quickly that the worst part will actually be the anticipation - you're going to worry so much worse than the pain will actually be. And it'll be over FAST! If you're worried, try popping a Tylenol before you head to get it done, just to cut any pain you might feel. And listen carefully to their instructions on keeping it clean and healthy - the worst is letting it develop an infection. Then it'll really hurt. So avoid that, be brave, and you'll be totally fine!!!!

When I was eight I was still eating glue (okay, not really, but you get my point). You're still so young!!! Don't worry about any of that stuff yet!!! Your boobs are still small, because their supposed to be!!! Just give it a couple of years, and then you can start worrying about all that stuff!
