Oy! Besties really are the best, but sometimes you’ve just gotta tell ‘em to mind their own business. How you keep your hair down there (or anywhere else on your body, for that matter) is 100-percent your business.
Pubic hair is totally natural and it is suppose to be there and it’s not disgusting! Your pubic hair protects the sensitive skin surrounding your private parts from getting irritated by your clothes. Trust me, if you shaved yourself bald down there and then put on a pair of jeans, you’d notice a huge difference.
To shave or not to shave (or wax or otherwise remove hair…) is a decision that can only (and should only!) be made by you. What you choose to do with your bod is nobody else’s concern. Don’t feel pressured to change your ways just ‘cause your friends rag on your habits. My advice? Tell ‘em to shut up, then change the subject.

greengirl, You can shave what you want. But most of us at least trim and so many of us shave all or part of it. Im thinking of going to the gyno soon and was concerned because I shave the whole area down there, but I was reading that its very normal to be completely shaven down there, even when going to the gyno.

Mod Mod Hi im 15 Years Old Today i was sitting on my bed watching tv and Didnt even really notice that i had to go to the bathroom but i peed in my pants and i tried to stop but i couldnt!! iM sO Embarrassed B/c of my age can you tell me what made this happen to me and how i can make it not happen again Are you sure you went to the bathroom? It's more likely that it would be discharge than pee. If it is though, it's just that you have a weak bladder. Jordan S.
