That is a huge age difference! I suggest you break up before things get even more complicated. Tell him, “I’ve realized I’m not ready for such a serious relationship…” Or take the easy way out and blame it on your parents. Tell him they won’t let you see him anymore. If you do stay with him, avoid being alone in the dark and explain very clearly that you are nowhere near ready for sex. Don’t be defensive or apologetic. Be comfortably definite. When girls have sex at your age, it is usually coerced, not consensual. If anyone “makes” another person have sex, that’s not intimacy – it’s rape. Moreover, though laws vary from state to state, having sex with someone your age could be considered statutory rape.

MOD! I really like this guy but he's seven years older than me. I'm 15. He likes me too, and we're rely close friends and I keep saying we can't be together because I'm not eighteen yet but I think I might love him.




There are laws about age's for dating in certain states. So you may want to be careful with that. I would suggest you wait til youre 18. xoxo kerra

MOD MOD MOD - What do you think the Maximum age limit is? I understand that it's all about maturity, but what do you think? I know TONS of parents that have 5-15 years of age difference...but people seem to freak out when i say my BGF/crush is 7 years older than me.

Me and my boyfriend have been best friends since the day we met and we've been together for 1 week now. On friday, we had our Halloween dance and we slow danced every slow song. I even kissed him on the cheek! We are in a theater company show together and he has one of the lead roles and I'm an extra. But being a lead, HE has to kiss this one girl onstage! And I don't mean a stage kiss, our director wants it to be a REAL kiss!! He wants to kiss me before the show, which is in 1 week! I want to kiss him, but I'm not sure if I'm ready. What should I do? I really really like him and I kinda do want to kiss him, BUT he is a year older than me in school. Help!!

Hey chica, if you don't feel ready then just wait! You should never rush into things and your bf should understand that. On the other hand, what is holding you back? Him being a year older doesn't mean anything. If you want to kiss him, kiss him. If not, you have plenty of time to get to that step. Take your time.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD-okay so I have liked my bgf (we're both 15) for like over a year now, but i'm to nervous to ever do anything more than just flirt with him. he flirts back too alot, but within the last week or so he started dating this other girl and they're like always being 'coupley'. anyways i was just kinda like "okay, there are other guys out there, maybe i should think about them..." but then, his 17 year old brother starts 'jokingly' telling me that he looooveeesss meeeee and u know stupid stuff and i thought it was just him being a dork, but then he sent me a couple of texts saying "has anyone ever told you how beatiful you are?" and i'm freaking out because i don't like him like that.... i like his brother! the other thing is, the older brother just broke up with his gf about a month ago and i was thinking maybe its just rebound? I'M SOOO CONFUSED! These are like my friends! Now i like one and the other likes me!

You're probably right, his older bro is most likely just trying to get some attention, flirt with someone, and remind himself that he's still got "game" after his breakup. No sweat - if you don't like him, just graciously accept his compliments and feel free to say, "Thanks so much Smile you're such a good friend!" That way, you emphasize the fact that you're friends, nothing more. And if he persists, you can be clearer: "I think we're better as friends. Thanks though!" As for your BGF, since he's dating someone now try to tone down the flirting. But when he's single again, amp it up and let him know that you are crushing. Since he flirts back, you just need to come on a little stronger and try to hang out more often so he sees how well you two click Smile
