With all the fuss over ah-mazing appetizers and tasty
treats, sometimes the sips get lost in the jumble! Top off your party menu with
a fizzy beverage that’ll keep guests guzzling all night long. Cheers!
Delish drinks
Add a punch of foamy perfection to your party with sherbet.
Pour ½ gallon of fruit juice into a large punch bowl, then add 1 ½ quarts of
sherbet. Finally, slowly pour in 1 liter of soda. You can mix up the flavor
combos any way you like. For a classic red punch, opt for fruit punch juice,
rainbow sherbet and lemon-lime soda. For a creepy green drink, go for lemonade
or pineapple juice, lime sherbet and ginger-ale of lemon-lime soda.
Sparkle and shine
Everything’s more fun—and feels more grown-up—when you add
some carbonation, right? If you’re celebrating with a small group of friends,
ask Mom ‘n’ Dad to pick up a few bottles of sparkling juice (I love cider in
the fall, but lemonade is a hit, too!). Or, pick a favorite flavor profile and
add in ginger-ale or club soda.
Crazy cubes
You can make ice cubes out of anything liquid-y. For an
elegant touch, freeze fruit (think strawberries, blueberries and raspberries)
in plain water. To add a dash of color, try freezing fruit juice, or snagging
ice trays with different cube shapes. For a way-creepy effect, try freezing
gummi worms into your cubes, leaving the top sticking out. Wicked, right?
What’s your favorite party punch recipe, babes?
