MTV's helping ya move past the friend zone


 
Ever wanted to be more than just friends with your best guy friend? Well MTV has developed a new show, Friendzone, about real teens that are in the same boat as you—and it’s premiering Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.


Here’s how it works: In each episode, girls or guys ask their best friend, whom they are secretly in love with, to help them plan a blind date for someone else they like. The catch? The blind date is really for the two of them! Will the best friend share the same feelings? Or will things become awkward, as they don’t feel the same way?


Be sure to check out what happens when the series premieres Nov. 1. Hey, there may just be hope for you and your crush.

im in 7th grade and last december i told my BGF that i had liked him for 4 years now and he said he didnt say the same way so things got awkward. over the summer we kinda reconnected but then he started dating this girl, whos lets just say isnt the nicest person and wears her skirts a lil too short and her tops a lil too low and i got mad and told him he was makin a mistake and now we dont even talk but im still crazy about him! what should i do?

The best thing you can do now is lay low. You might have insulted his taste in girls, so you should hold your head high and try to be his friend. Say hi to him in the cafeteria and in class, but try to find someone new. xoxox
