Create a buzz as a cute queen
bee…
Break out the black and yellow. This
queen bee getup will have all your besties buzzing with costume envy.
Grab a yellow tank and layer it over a black turtleneck. With thick
black electrical tape, create stripes by wrapping rows of tape around
your. Toss on a pair of black leggings, black boots and yellow leg
warmers. Craft DIY wings at home with cardboard and glitter, or hit
up the store for some shimmering bee wings. Put the “queen” in
queen bee with a glittery tiara…and an antennae headband, of
course. Finish off the look with yellow and black eye makeup, and add
sparkle some sparkle to your cheeks with a bit o’ glitter.

Go gorgeous as a gypsy…
Mastering the gypsy look means breaking
out all your boho pieces. Pop a loose-fitting tunic over a colorful
maxi, and tie a bright scarf around your hips, letting the ends
dangle. Add piles of bangles and necklaces and larger-than-life
hoops. Tease your mane and tie it up in a sequined kerchief.
Extra credit: Go wild with
makeup...purple eye shadow and glossy lips will do the trick.
Calling all Gleeks…
Unleash your inner Rachel Berry this
Halloween. Pick out prim ballet flats or basic loafers, white
knee-high socks, a plaid skirt and a buttoned up blouse with an
argyle sweater. Complete the costume with a bright pink hair band.
Don’t forget to flash a Glee-worthy smile when ya go door to door,
and maybe work on your scales a little.
Extra credit: Carry around some sheet
music and pop a gold star on your face.
You can’t say “no” to a gnome…
Cute dress? Check. Colorful leotard and
tights? Check. Chunky belt? Check. Combat boots? Check. You’ve got
all the ingredients to go out as a girly garden gnome this Halloween.
The only thing you’re missing is a cone-shaped hat. Whittle one
outta red construction paper…just curl the paper into a cone shape
and tape.

plant while trick-or-treating, or don a long-haired white wig.
Dress up as a chic shopaholic
If you are one to shop ‘till ya drop
this costume idea will suit you just fine, babe. Pop on your darkest
skinnies, too-high heels, and a glittery top with a faux-fur vest.
Don’t forget oversized shades and a billion baubles—try a
statement necklace or three. Max out on crazy makeup: shiny pink
gloss, electric green shadow, a mountain of mascara and golden body
glitter. You’re set to shine all night, darling.

tonsa Monopoly money and fill your arms with shopping bags from all
your fave stores. (Psst: You can hold more candy!)
Be a barista babe…
Here’s one for all you Starbucks
lovers. All ya need to rock this getup is a black shirt and pants and
a green apron (a green tee would work, too). Print off a pic of the
coffee house’s logo and tape it onto your apron/tee. Tie your hair
back in a high pony, tuck a Sharpie behind your ear and your order’s
up, doll.
