It’s not so hard, but it’s hard to do it gracefully. How to get guys to notice you without looking like a fool? First off, do not emulate Paris Hilton! Instead, put some thought into your actions. If you know a guy is into…say, fencing, use your smarts to strike up a convo and ask good questions. He will be impressed and intrigued by your interest. Next thing ya know, you’ll move on to chatting about all kinds of stuff. Touché!

No worries - this is SOOO common! I think we've all felt this way at least once before when we spot our crush! He's so dreamy, and sweet, and perfect... and that means silence on our end. Oops! Check out this article - I love the advice given by our GL writer for this prob! You gotta believe in yourself. Remind yourself that he's a person, just like you and me. He has interests that he likes to talk about, and he gets nervous about stuff too. Be confident and GO for it!

i need help. i really like this guy and all my friends keep saying that he likes me back but i cant really tell. sometimes it seems like he does and other times it just doesnt. so how do i figure out if he likes me w/o straight up asking him? i want him to kno i like him b4 he goes for a younger girl again.




Hey girlie,

You gotta talk to him more one-on-one so you get to know him. When you do grow closer (as friends or just as a crush), you'll learn how he treats you compared to how he treats other girls. You'll also get an idea of how he is: flirty, reserved, serious, a class clown, etc. You can also flirt with him to see how he responds to that. That way, you can tell whether he sees you as a friend or as something more! Smile

ok so I really need some advice here. Ok so I like this jock sooo much it's not even funny... He DOESNT like me. But we've been talking a lot lately, over text caz he knows I'm too shy to do it face to face. He knows I like him and he seems ok with it, but I need something to talk to him about so he can think of me as outgoing and flirty... What can I say?!

Hey Girl,

How do you know he doesn't like you? If he's responding to your texts, that's a good sign! Don't feel like you need to be someone you're not just to impress him, because he should like you for you! And if he doesn't, he's not the right guy for you. Try talking to him about an upcoming movie you really want to see- maybe he wants to see it too, and then he'll offer to take you!

MOD MOD MOD! Ok so, i've been texting this guy on my bus and he's awesome! We both love the same restraunts and he cares about disabled kids, and he wants to run in the olympics! Anway, he seems amazing and cool while texting but the problem is that he claims to be a player! In person and on Facebook! I've already been in a bad relationship this year involving a "player" and don't want to go through it again! Help!

 

Hey girl, if he claims to be a player, I would confront him about it. "Players" only break other's hearts. =[ Trust me. You deserve the best, so try not to fall too hard for him if all he's going to do is hurt you. Good luck girl! =]

K, I have a HUGE PROBLEMO!!! So I have a BGF thats kinda nice and were like friends and suff, but people are always making fun of us saying that we like each other, even though we both say we don't. He has lots of other girl friends, but no one act they they should go out! But the worst part is that I relised I really do like him and have for a while. Sometimes it seems like he likes me but when my friend asks him if he likes me he always looks embarrassed and says no, I do 2, but I want to know wwhether or not he likes me without making our friendship akward? HELP!!
