I am too short, and everybody calls me “Shrimp.” I try to eat healthful food, but it doesn’t seem to help at all. Any suggestions? – Shorty

 

I am too tall and look older than I am. I have started my period, and the other girls in my class haven’t. Guys in my class act as if they’re scared of me or something. – Too Tall

 

Dear Short and Tall,

You’re both fine the way you are. Work on accepting your height because you can’t change it. And remember, everyone grows at their own pace. Eventually, short kids stretch a few inches, and tall girls stop growing. I know it’s hard when girls and boys grown at such different rates, but just hang in there! Puberty requires patience.

i am extremely short too... I am at least two inches shorter than all of the other short-ish people in my class and over a foot shorter than most of the tall people... i feel your pain, but since my parents are short, I probably will only grow up to be like 5 feet...

im only 5'2 and probably won't grow much more....maybe 2 or 3 more inches if im lucky

LOL this sounds so much like me and my twin. She's only 4'10", but I'm like 5'6". Who said twins were the same?

I am taller, thinner and flatter than most of my friends and most people my age. I keep hoping that some things change and maybe they will. I have a bf and enough attention from guys but I would still like to look a little different.

MOD MOD MOD I need serious help. I lost my planner and had a really important form in there and its due wed and now I need to tell my mom and she's going to flip because I tend to lose things occasionally!!! Im really nervous and I don't know what to do.

Have you checked your school's lost and found yet? If you haven't, do that first. I'd ask your teacher for another copy of the form tomorrow - this way, you can ask your mom to help you fill it out tomorrow night. Good luck! xoxox
