MOD MOD MOD!!
Yesterday my bf said that he wanted a break. I didn't want to force him to stay, and so we aren't together right now. We both still love each other and we both want to get back together.
Well, sometimes he will be all happy then the next second get sad, and that makes me even more sad. His parents divorced awhile back and his mom's side doesn't like me very much, and every time he goes up there it's always negative.
I am so sad without him, and I want to get together again and be happy all the time and be the great couple we were for 9 months.
Any advice when we get back together? I NEED HELP!

 

This is a tough one. First you need to figure out how your BF is REALLY feeling. If he broke things off with you, he obviously is having some changes in his feelings. Instead of breaking apart and longing for each other, go talk to him. Be understanding, but also search for answers. Ask him to explain why he wants a break. If he says his feelings have changed, let him know that yours haven't. Maybe it will make him realize that he still does love you. Just talk it out and see where it goes...it's your best bet. As for his mom's side of the fam, kill them with kindness. Be so nice, helpful, and kind that they'll HAVE to love you. This is not the time to keep things to yourself, so express your feelings and figure this whole thing out together.
