The 60-second updo we love!

Running late for school and skipped the shower last night? We’ve got the one-minute updo that will have you looking like you just stepped off the red carpet in a flash.


Take a cue from dancing diva Julianne Hough and modernize that plain ol’ pony.
 
First, start by spritzing a texturizing spray all over dry hair and teasing the crown of your head for a bit of extra volume. Then, part the front section of your hair and sweep the rest up into a ponytail (not too high!). For those of you with bangs or face-framing layers, keep those loose and allow them to fall around your face to give you a flattering frame. Before running out the door remember to gently tease the ponytail for the perfect amount of perkiness to get you through your day. How’s that for gorgeous in a jiffy?

These hair styles are different, but can't u make them simpler?? you have to add all these texturizers. I am not allowed to have all these mosturizers, to put in my hair every day, it will damage my hair. Please put hair style advice where u just use ur natural hair. i need help but it's not helping bucuz i don't have all the stuff u talk about! i need something simpler, and fast that i understand. change ur advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey legallyginger12345, I would go semi-casual. For an affair like this, jeans a nice shirt with heels or flats would be appropriate. A dress with boots and stockings and a sweater would look cute too. For more outfit ideas ask your friend what she's going to wear. Hope this helps and have fun! Smile Smile

I need hair syle for wavy puffy hair i got tried of just putting my hair up or leaving it down all the time also i wanted to ask how i can keep my hair relaxed with out flat ironing it? ;)

Hey girl, if you all are in school together, the "homework help" way is definitely one of the easiest when trying to talk to a guy. Ask him if he understands a certain subject and if he'd help you with some homework. It gets him to talk to you, AND you get to spend extra time with him.

ok, first i just wanna say that i really hope this shows up and someone answers me because whenever i type a question to the moderators it never shows up Frown
ok, so i've had this dream of becoming an actress for a while now, and i recently just told my dad about it because i was afraid he wouldn't take me seriously. and he was all "keep in mind i'll always be there for you but i suggest waiting till high school then do drama club or something so you can get a feel of it then find out if this is something you really wanna do."
finally, my question to you is, if i do drama club and i am good/enjoy it, how can i take the next step like landing small comercials? i want this so bad i literally dream about it. pleaes help....i want a second opinion!




Hey babe!

Your dad is right - start small with your high school drama club and see how that goes. If you realize that you love it, then you can start taking acting classes. Most acting school teachers have connections within the industry, and the more connections and roles you have, the more experience you show directors, the better.  Then, make a resume and take headshots and start sending them out to casting directors and agents in your area.
