Let’s face it: Thanksgiving is a holiday centered around food—delicious, mouth-watering, carb- and fat-loaded food. And for a holiday that comes around just once a year, that’s A-OK! But loading up on your favorite dishes at the dinner table can make ya feel sluggish if your body isn’t able to burn those babies off. Do yourself a favor and sneak in an A.M. workout sesh so you can feel fab morning, noon and night.


It’s all about the intervals!

Studies show that intervals are the best way to get your blood pumping—and calories burning—effectively. Pick your favorite exercise (we love kickboxing, biking and jumping rope) and vary the intensity. Get the 411 on interval training here.


Grab the fam

Got cousins in town? Pull them off the couch and get moving. Strap on rollerblades, play some one-on-one or grab the old pigskin and score yourself a touchdown. Turning exercise into a game will get your mind off of the dreaded notion of working out—who cares about burning calories when bragging rights are at stake?!


Don’t go overboard

Come feast time, feel free to eat what you want sans guilt. How often do you get to indulge in three kinds of pies or mashed potatoes and mac ‘n’ cheese? Do keep your serving sizes under control, and when you feel full, do yourself a favor and stop eating. You’ll avoid that bloated-‘til-eternity sensation—phew!

Help! I am 16 almost 17. I have about 5-6 pounds I want to lose. I really like one that would tone my stomahe and thighs. I have a small muffin top but alot of stomachs fat. I really don't like to run or jog and I dont have a bike. Can you suggest a workout for me so I can stun people in my new bikini when I go to Florida for MLK day? Thanks Smile

Hey girl, it really depends on your skill set and how much experience you have. I'd totally suggest talking to a gym teacher or coach who knows what you can do personally. They can give you a customized routine!

Mod! Help!!! Ok I have been carrying about 5 lbs extra for as long as I can remember. I have tried it all!!! Diets to exercises to anything else! I would LOVE to burn the fat on my tummy, and thighs
and arms in less than 2 months. I also reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyt want to look good in a bikini!!!Do u have any workouts that u would suggest for me? I HATE running so please try to suggest one without any. THANKS!!!




Hey girl, chances are those "five pounds" are natural and part of your bod that's growing up. Just focus instead on taking care of yourself: eating healthy and exercising in some way. You'll look and feel your best!

after thanksgiving dinner the girls in my family went for a walk and then i played football with my dad, bro, and cuz for an hour-i was sore the next day!
