My mom and my crush's mom are like BFFs, so our families hang out a lot. The other night our families had dinner together. Afterward my crush and I went to hang out in the family room while our moms were chatting in the dinning room. I should mention the rooms are connected. Well, I guess they forgot that, because they essentially started planning our wedding. "I think it's great what they have," his mom said. "Oh, I know, Michelle has the biggest crush on him," my mom chimed in. My crush and I awkwardly sat there in agony. I coughed to get their attention, hoping they would stop. No such luck. "Yeah, it reminds me of my husband and I when we first met," his mom continued. OMG! I couldn't bear anymore and said, "Uh, you do realize we're sitting here and we can hear you, right?" Then my crush said, "Yeah, sorry to disappoint you guys, but I don't think that'll ever happen." Ouch! Like I really needed that!
