What's with the stubble?

 

Girly, this one has been haunting women all over the world for ages. 

Unfortunately, shaving alone won't do the trick to banish those pesky hairs for very long.  Every single hair you have on your body is very much like the saying, "the tip of the iceberg." When you shave, you only whack off the top of the hair, what sits up and out of the skin.

In reality, like an iceberg, the hair doesn't end at what you can see, it actually extends much further into the hair follicle. So every time you shave, it's just waiting to poke back out a few hours later.  That's how you always end up with that pesky stubble not too long after shaving.

 

If what you have in mind is keeping your legs silky smooth for a few days at a time, you might want to switch over to waxing, which pulls out the entire hair, not just what's sitting up on top of the surface.

im 12 years old, and i havent shaved yet. i really need to but i dont know the right time to ask my mom. whens a good time so its not awkward?!




Hey girl!

It's totally normal to feel awkward about asking your mom, chances are she might feel a bit awkward too! Try asking her when you two are alone and have time to talk about it.

You can try salt water, it'll sting but it cleans the cold sore, or chap stick or something

I have almost the same problem but my mom wont let me wax my armpits because she's worried I'll mess up or it will stain or something, but after I shave my armpits 1's fine but the others stubbly I try to shave good, but when I tried shaving the stubbles the razor cut my armpit
How do I get rid of it?

Having underarm stubble is totally normal and shouldn't bother you one bit - it doesn't make you look dirty or bad! If you really want to wax, we recommend going to a salon and letting a professional take care of it <3 That way, it doesn't hurt any more than it has to and you know you're getting it done right.
