There’s this guy that I REALLY like, but he is going to move away in May!! Also, two of my friends overheard that he likes one of my best friends, but she doesn’t like him at all. Should I ask him out before it’s too late or just move on?


Imagine if you do ask him out, and he says yes. Will you be able to deal with his moving away? If yes, then go for asking him out. What your friends overheard may not be the total truth, so you have nothing to lose by asking him out. You won’t be forever embarrassed if he rejects you because he’s moving away!


But it might be harder to move on from him if you actually do date and he leaves. While you can get over a crush by just finding someone new to like, getting over a boyfriend is more difficult. And long-distance relationships are possible, but a phone call or Skype chat isn’t the same as seeing someone in person. Plus, you might consider that he might not want to start a relationship before he moves.


Go ahead and ask him out if you think it could work, but be realistic. It might be better to just move on now, just make sure you know what you want before you jump into anything.

I know how you feel, girl. My guy is graduating and moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2 weeks. It's sad, but sometimes you gotta move on.

MOD MOD MOD MOD So, please answer my question. The guy I like is one of the populars and he knows I like him. I am one of the dorks, am very smart, and I always have my nose in a book. He is so not like me, but I like him anyways. Do you know of any ways to get him to notice me. P.S. We go to a very small Catholic school and updating my uniform is out of the question, and my parents won't let me wear make-up. We also don't get many dress down days and the clothing we can wear is very limited when we do. Thanks and sorry for this bing so long.




Just talk to him! If you find something  in common with him and talk about it youll get to know him better. If he gets to know the real you he may just start to like you! Smile xoxo kerra

I would advise you to not spend the next few months pining over someone who is no longer going to be around in the flesh. But, even if you are not going to be BF/GF it doesn't mean you can't stay friends. Get his cell number and his skype and see if u two can chat every once in a while.

so my bff is going out with my bgf. My bgf talks to me more than his gf and I feel bad. I asked them if they talked in person at all, and they said they did a lot. My bgf doesn't seem to like my bff anymore, but is constantly reminding everyone how much he likes her. My bff told me that she didn't really want a boyfriend, even though she still liked him. What can I do? I don't want them to break up, but should I tell my bgf what my bff said?? Thanks!




Hey girlie,

It's their business whether they stay together or break up, so try to stay neutral. If your BGF or BFF says anything hurtful about each other (or if you hear of any hurtful things going on, like cheating), that is totally a time when you should speak up. But let them sort this out for themselves. If they decide they don't like each other anymore and want to break up, they'll decide to make that happen. Just be patient and be a good friend to both of them while they figure this out Smile
