H&M gets caught in the act

 
This week we’re wagging our finger at one of our fave stores, H&M. The fashion-on-the-cheap retail chain was caught pasting the heads of real models onto virtual CGI bodies in their online shop. Not cool, H&M!

 

While they’re probably not the first to use this tactic (and likely won’t be the last), we’re disappointed that the retailer continues to perpetuate the notion of the ideal body as being thin, toned and tan. Aren’t we ready to see some real girls rocking the clothes we’re dying to buy?

 

And as a sketchy side note, when you look at a series of the CGI body/real head combination images—and I mean really look—it’s super creepy. Check out the images (and more of the scoop) on adweek.com.

i really hate how people think that you have to look like a stick to be beautiful! I am quite curvy and you no wat, i embrace it even tho we all do feel self concious at times ( i have too) we need to no thatwe are all beautiful no matter wat any1 else says
