Dear Bad Girl,
You feel lousy, right? But behind that makeup and smoke is a good person. Come on out! Change is hard—for you to do and others to recognize. But since you no longer want to play rough-and-tough boyfriend stealer, find healthy ways to feel confident. What are you good at? Soccer? Singing? Science? Spanish? Build on those strengths.
As for changing your rep, lose the makeup and put a positive attitude on your face—even if it feels kind of forced at first. Ask guys and girls friendly questions such as, “What did you do during vacation?” It may take a while to replace the old image, but congratulate yourself on having the guts to change.

POSTED IN dear carol, self-esteem, identity, bad habit, advice from Carol Weston
There is no better time to try and change our image than when the new year starts, and thats now! We all can help our image and be nicer, more responsible or whatever else we want to be better at. I talked with my my mom and she asked what some of my goals were for the new year and I told her I was going to try and be more responsible and be a better daughter. She liked that. I told my bf I wanted our relationship to grow but I have my concerns since we just seem to be at different levels at times. Its a maturity thing and it just seems like he isnt ready for certain things.

Flavor: Pop the top for this electrifying, citrus-flavored gloss.
Fab Fact: This soda goodness has been slicking lips with a yummy fizz since 1976.
