Ouchhh. Definitely wouldn't continue talking this honestly about it. It's ok to voice your concerns and feelings in a relationship but, in this case, I would stop talking - and start doing! Don't tell him all the ways he's a bad kisser. Next time, just keep quiet and take control. Do things your way and show him how you enjoy kissing, basically. He'll get the hint! <3

i need help this guy i like... we used to always talk and he would just randomly cone up and give me hugs. high five me. stop by my locker to talk, even in english he would ask the guy behind me to move so he could sit there and talk to me! but lately all that has stopped he dosnt make eye contact, look at me, smile at me, or talk to me.... his smile used to light up my days... i would look fot=rward to my one class together so i could just see him......it hurts me. what should i do?! should i just let it go?! HEEEEELLLP!

Thank you so much for the advice.. How do I fix his bad kissing skills though? He's so sloppy and slobbery and always wants tongue and that is just not my thing. It's kind of embarrassing bringing it up but I hate kissing him because of it... What do I do??

 

Tell him youre in charge for some kissing and hes not allowed to make any moves - only you. Then try some non tongue kissing and slowly work to tongue to keep the slobber at a minimum. Keep doing that until he learns to do it himself. xoxo kerra

So I have a bf and he's great and all and I love him but sometimes I second guess our relationship.. Sometimes we have really great moments together and I never want to leave him but other times I feel like he is obsessed and I just want it to be over. Also, he's a really sloppy kisser and he has a mustache which I HATE and I don't want to break up with him because A. I said I never would and B. He's kinda going through a lot right now and he's mildly depressed so I would uberly ruin his life if I did break up with him....idk. I mean, it's not really good to second guess a relationship, is it?? I just don't know what to do...

It's totally normal to second-guess your relationship and wonder if you made the right choice. The important thing is that you care about him, get happiness from being around him, and value him in your life. If you're feeling unfulfilled and unhappy in the relationship overall though, it's time to get out. You cannot stay in the relationship because you told him you wouldn't break up with him or because he's going through a rough patch himself. It'll never be the "right time" to break up with someone - if you sit by and wait for the right time to pop up, you'll be sitting in a bad relationship for a REALLY long time. It's uncomfortable and breakups aren't easy but, if you aren't happy, you'll be doing both of you a favor by ending things. That way, you aren't leading him on and you aren't forcing yourself to fake your way through a relationship. You need to be honest with yourself and your feelings. Do you care about him? Do you love him? Is your relationship working? It might be worth it to figure out what the problem is, then talk to him and try to fix it first. That way, you let him know you aren't happy and that things need to change...before you blindside him with a breakup <3

I think guys like that who do that are immature, so try to find a way to make him feel embarrassed for acting like he does. I wouldnt start cussing because that in a way seems immature. Say something like, 'stop acting like my 10 year old brother' or 'at least our bodies are maturing, yours looks like a little kid', maybe that will shut him up. Hope that helps.

When it comes to kissing, french kissing is the ultimate when it comes to showing affection and sharing feelings. We all wondered about doing it before we first did it and I wouldnt be nervous, its more exciting than anything and after yo start kissing that way you wont want to do it any other way. But I warn you that its easy to lose control so I would be careful at first.

Sometimes, relationships fizzle out. It's often nobody's fault...it just didn't work out, you know? And naturally, you're going to feel sad/upset about it - and so is your ex. But that doesn't mean you did something wrong or viciously hurt him! You both did the right thing by breaking up. If things weren't working, it's better to move on and be happy <3 Try to learn some lessons from the mistakes you made in that relationship, remember them for the future, and put it behind you. Surround yourself with friends, get involved in a new activity to put yourself out there, and try to talk to/meet new guys (and potential crushes!). You may not find a new crush asap, but it doesn't matter - all that matters is that you're confident, out-going, and trying hard to smile each day. Guys will see a happy and sure-of-herself girl...and THAT is attractive to them Smile Don't worry about never kissing someone yet - that will come. And it's better when it's with someone who means a lot to you, not some random guy!!

I have 3 older brothers and the are always mean to me. I'm 14 and the only girl so I get picked on. They always gang up on me and I'm tired of it.Their not just teasing either . . . they insult me. Whenever I say something they say I'm hormonal or ask if I'm getting my period. I don't think I'm overreacting. My parents ignore it or say they are joking, but it's very hurtful. My brothers will also often "jokingly" try and hurt me by hitting me or kicking me. It's not an emergency, but I'm tired of it. What should I do?




Hey girlie,

The verbal stuff is one thing - them saying "ugh you must be on your period" is annoying but it can be tolerated by simply walking away, going to your room, and playing your fave song til you calm down. But the kicking and hitting is crossing the line! The next time they do something like that, be firm and strong in your response: tell them "Stop it. Now." in a serious and eerily calm tone. Don't raise your voice - just say it pointedly, then walk away. If it continues, it might be worth it to write a note to mom and dad or make a list of all the things they do that hurt you. That way, they can see how constant this really is for you. It's natural for brothers to tease their sisters, but it gets to a point when you can't take anymore - so try to let your parents see that this is really bothering you without getting overly emotional and losing that maturity that I know you have! <3

1) Are you allowed to be dating? If so, no worries! Just talk to your dad casually one day and let him know you've gotten to know ___ (your BF's name) really well over this past school year and he's really respectful, funny, studious, nice to his mom/sisters, you have a lot in common, etc. (Definitely list those great qualities.) Tell dad you've decided to date your BF and you just wanted to let him know, since he's so important to you! Keeping him in the loop will mean a lot to him Smile

2) It's totally normal to wonder about sex and even to discuss it with friends/BFs/GFs. But if you're not ready to actually DO it, no one is forcing you! Be strong and honest about it: if he asks you or tries to force it on you, tell him a firm "NO." It's a mature choice to decide you aren't ready - and there's nothing wrong with that. So be confident with it and only take things to the next level if/when you're ready to <3

It's totally ok to go out with someone from another town, as long as you're both dedicated to seeing each other/keeping in touch! And it's normal to text him a little more than he texts you, but try pulling back a little bit to see if he makes the first move. It's ok to text first (especially if he isn't a "texter" like you are - he might prefer chatting on the phone or IMing instead), but you shouldn't be pulling all the weight - he can text you first sometimes, too! Smile It's all about balance so you know you're both interested <3

You said you're scared to go- it sounds like you don't want to go! Don't feel like you have to go just because she invited you. Eight hours is a long way to travel, and I'm sure your mother will not be thrilled about finding a way to transport you that far away, especially with such short notice. If you don't want to go, I would tell the girl that you have plans with your family for NYE that you really can't get out of. She should be understanding.

Sure, it's possible to use a tampon anytime, but you wouldn't have any reason to use one unless you have your period. And remember, every time you use a tampon you are at risk for Toxic Shock Syndrome(TSS), which is extremely rare but it's still possible to get it. So I would definitely not use a tampon unless I actually needed one.

Mod mod modSmile happy holidays! so heres my dilemma, this guy used to like me but i didnt like him. then i liked him, he didnt like me. i realized nothing was happening so i tried to move on but i guess the word got around that i didnt like him anymore cause in my high school gossip spreads like wildfire. like a few days later he started chatting me up a lot! and wrote on my book "i love RG (his initials) so much its not even funny" and i was thinking what is going on? and over the holidays he texted me a few times (he never used to text me) and once out of the blue hes like "come to the mall to hangout with me" (his friends were there too) but i couldnt so i invited him to my friends skating show with my friends. i jsut dont know because he sends mixed signals like he would pay attention to me and then not rly pay attention to me so what do you think? sorry its soo long! and btw i think im starting to like him again

It sounds like he likes you and wants to hang out! His mixed signals are his way of trying to see if you like him, so flirt a little bit more so he gets the message. Or, if you're feeling bold, let him know how you feel!

modmodmodmodmodmod ok so iwas texting my bf yesterday at like noon then again at like 4 and i started the convo both times and i always do so what i did was at like 830 i said "i dont think im doing anything over break" cause i said that to my friend and then i was like "whoops that was soppused to go to my sorry" then i was like "sorry about that what up" and he still hasnt replied am i being to clingy what advice can you give about that oh and now im gonna wait for him to text me not text him first sorry this is so long and confusing thanks in advance




Hey Chica,

You're not being clingy, but you're right to wait till he texts you first. Since he's your bf, he should be texting you sometimes, but you shouldn't always be the one to text him first. Don't assume that he's ignoring you but next time you see him in person, say something about him not responding. Just don't be confrontational and everything will be good!

I've been told in magazines and other online horoscopes that my ultimate place of romance will be New Years Eve. And I can't wait. It's my second favorite time of the year. Here's the problem... no one is throwing a party and I won't be able to throw one myself. Even if someone did throw a party, the only way the guys and girls would go is if a guy hosted and a bunch of the girls planned to go. What should I do?

I'm getting over my recent crush and now I found a new guy. A guy who goes to another school and whom I've never met fully. (I remember him from a volleyball game and I said "Thanks for helping.") One of my new friends is related to him and when I clicked on his facebook page I just immediately liked him. We have the same tastes in everything! And he's really cute but I just want to talk to him soo bad without looking like a idiot who just added him for fun. Then tell her you think her relative is cute, and that you would like to meet/hang out with. Maybe your friend could invite him and some other people to go bowling or to the mall so that you can hang out with him in a chill group setting and get to know him. Smile
