My friend and I had just gotten changed for softball practice and were walking to the field when I realized I’d left my locker open. I dropped my bag and started to run back to the locker room…but my foot got caught in the strap! I tripped and fell flat on my face just as the baseball players came out. Still haven’t lived it down.

MOD! I really need your advice... Soo I am almost 14, 5'5 and about ___ pounds, and my BMI is almost __. Last time I went to the doctor I weighed ___. She told me not to lose anymore weight. But I did. Am I underweight...? I dont feel I am, I feel fat, actually... I've struggled with anorexia for the past 5 months. But now I'm scared that it has got out of hand and I might become underweight... My eating habits have been awful, and because of it my periods have been irregular... How do I make my eating habits normal again? But I also want to eat healthy....




Hey girl,

If you're having concerns or issues with your weight/eating, you need to talk to a counselor and doctor RIGHT AWAY. We can't judge whether your body weight is healthy, over/under the "norm," etc. But your doctor can talk to you about your healthiest weight and can give you nutrition tips to get back on track. I know it might be awkward to spill your guts to a therapist or counselor about your struggle with anorexia, but it's WAY more common than you think. They're totally prepared to help you talk through the issues you have with your body, figure out ways to embrace your bod and yourself, and start treating yourself with love and respect like you deserve <33 PLEASE PLEASE promise that you'll speak up and get help with this! It's not helping you and it's not a way to be in control - it's a disease and you're making yourself sick. Get better so you can live a beautiful, long life!
