Bloody Mary

I had just gotten my period when, one night, I tried to change my pad to a heavier, night one. Everything was fine so I went to sleep. Hours later, I woke up to the sound of my brother puking. My mom came into my room a few minutes later and told me that I apparently hadn’t wrapped my pad well in toilet paper. My brother saw the blood and threw up…and the next day, he told all his friends! Now they call me “Blood Girl” when they come over.

It seems I cant ever get any sleep at night!! My bedtime is 10:00 and I can never go to sleep until like, 3:00 in the morning! Whats wrong with me! Any advice?




Hey Girl,

Nothing is wrong with you! Your biological clock changes during your teen years which affects your wake-sleep cycle! Try to get a lot of physical activity during the day and turn of all electronic devices (music, TV, computer, video games) at least 30-60mins before you go to bed! It also helps to dim the lights at night! I hope this helps Smile

In a few hours, my cousins are coming over. They are 3 girls, ages 4,5, and 8. They follow me EVERYWHERE I go. Literally, the only places I get privacy are when I'm changing and going to the bathroom. But where can I hide my pads from them because I am on my period? I can't hide them in the bathroom because other people use it and they will see them, they would follow me to my room if I went there to get one... What should I do? Thanks in advance.
