With Valentine’s Day quickly
approaching, the rush to find the perfect date is on. Although you
don’t want to get your hopes up and plan too far ahead, there is
nothing wrong with strategizing a game plan. Check out our gotta-know helpful hints for your special night.
Dress practical. Not sure where
you're going for your date? Of course you wanna dress to impress, but
you can never go wrong with jeans, a super cute top and a comfy pair
of flats. Hiking in heels or bowling in
a poofy dress hardly sounds like fun.
Dig a little. There' nothing wrong
with doing some Facebook stalking – just don't admit you
memorized his interests and posts. Awk. Be natural and subtle. Easy
example: If he's a Hungers Game fan, ask him if he's excited
to see any new movies.
No conversation hogging. Nothing is
worse than listening to someone drone on about themselves for hours.
Yawn. Make sure that you ask about him and what he likes to do. After
all, if you're into the guy, you should be stoked to hear his
stories, right?
Speed dial your BFF. Before you head
out the door, a quick pep talk from your BFF can help calm some of
your nerves. No one knows how to make you relax better than your
partner in crime. That in mind, do not call or text her during your date. You don't wanna send the wrong image to your guy.
Be yourself! The most important
“do” of all: BE YOURSELF. A boy will never like you for who you
are unless you let him see who that is.
