I'm 19 and I still sleep with stuffed animals, Simba and Nala to be exact. I can go camping without them, but I just fall asleep faster when they're with me. No worries

MOD MOD MOD! So I'm 12 and I constantly wish I was younger. I have my period and I'm growing taller. But I always feel like wanting to be young again when gossip, rumors, middle school, and popularity never mattered. It feels like I had the best memories when I was younger and I always was happy and had fun. Now it seems like my world revolves around looking good, Facebook, and Guys. I wish it wasn't like this. I wish that I could go outside and have fun with my neighborhood friends like I used to. Now I'm too old it feels like to have fun! I'm really depressed and I miss fairytales, Barbies, and games. How can I let that stuff go but still have fun and be happy? Please Reply!

You're not alone - it's totally normal to think about the past and wish you could go back. But honestly, things weren't as good then as you remember. It just seems easier because of what you're facing now. But you're forgetting that you didn't have as much freedom, weren't able to enjoy as many movies and as much music as you do now, you weren't as smart or considerate, your parents didn't trust you as much, etc. And the truth is, this isn't Peter Pan - you HAVE to grow up. The trick is making the most of it. Sure, parts aren't going to be fun - having periods, being stressed by school, etc. But you gotta find the parts that you love! Ok, so you don't care about looking good for guys and you'd rather be more laid back about that kind of thing. So...be that way! This is YOUR life and it's your decision how you live it. You can still play games, read fairytales and fantasy books, play sports with friends, and enjoy life as a 12 year old. It's inevitable that we'll grow older, but it doesn't mean we have to grow up. This isn't something to be depressed about - it's something to embrace. And if you don't like certain parts, CHANGE THEM. This is totally up to you!!! <3
