How to handle a fast-moving relationship




Chica, no matter what guy you're involved with or how much you care for him, your needs have to come first in this kind of situation. There is no time when it is okay for you to feel uncomfortable or nervous because your boy is pushing things ahead a little bit more quickly than you would like -- whether it's an earlier-than-expected "L" bomb, a way-too-soon-for-this physicalness, or another boundary-crossing relationship expectation.

You should only be with someone else if you're happy. Yes, his happiness counts too, but you must draw the line at what makes you comfortable. While keeping that in mind, talk to your BF and let him know that you have concerns about the pace of the relationship. Make sure he knows that you do have feelings for him and want to continue to grow closer, but that you would like to do so at your own speed.

If he's truly worth your time, then he will understand. If he doesn't understand and instead decides to have a hissy fit over it, then you know that he's not quite the person you thought he was. There will be someone who is overjoyed just to have you in his life. If it's not this one, it's another one that you'll find in no time!

My bf and I have been dating for three days now. i really like him, but he's begun to already say that he loves me. I'm worried because I really love when he says stuff like that, because i love him back, but i can't decide if I'm comfortable with it or not.
On the other hand, i've said it, too. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Its all about the build up. You have to go kinda slow. By easing into the tongue and not doing too much too fast. If you go slower and only do what youre comfortable with when it comes to tongue etc youll get better. xoxo kerra

Hey girlie,

You gotta talk to him about this! Tell him you aren't sure what he meant when he made you change, but you felt really uncomfortable and insecure about that. A BF should make you feel respected and really happy with yourself - not make you feel like you should change (literally or figuratively!). Have a chat with him and just explain how you felt. He's your BF after all, so you should feel comfy talking about things with him! <3 See how he reacts - hopefully, he will respect you and make sure he's a lot more considerate from now on.

MOD MOD MOD. I have a problem. I have a had the biggest craziest crush ever on my friend. We talkin school and hangout sometimes with a group, and ocassionally text. So I might have a chance. The only problem is that he is my friends ex. I don't know if that would be weird or if she would care so I have been keeping my crush a secret from everyone. Do you think I have a chance with him and do you think it would be too weird? Also, I have never had any sucess with guys so I need some tips. plz plz plz help!!! i REALLY love this guy!!

 

Hey gigglegirlcorky, just talk to your friend and see if she would be okay with you guys dating. If she's cool with it, then make a move. Maybe ask him to the movies or to grab a bite to eat. MOD!! so i got a boyfriend two weeks ago and last friday he dropped the "l bomb" on me over a text. i said i love him too cause i want to be nice but honestly i dont know. like we dont know each other that well,but tomorrows a dance so that should make it better and maybe we'll have our first kiss ?? he says im the best thing thats ever happened to him and i know thats supposed to be flattering but i dont know it doesnt make me feel that great. I think he's just coming on a little strong and it's freaking you out. If saying "I love you" doesn't feel natural to you, don't feel like you have to say it just yet. You probably both mean different things when you say it - you take it super seriously, while he is using "love" to express the like/crush/butterflies/new relationship feelings he has for you right now. Just focus on enjoying the relationship, getting to know him, and seeing where it takes you. Don't put pressure on yourself to feel certain things or say certain things! Smile You'll know in your heart if it's right.

I do really like my boyfriend, but i miss everything about my ex. What should i do?

If your current boyfriend is moving too fast, you should be firm and say 'no.' If you're missing your ex, it might be a good idea to take a break from relationships and assess your feelings and think about what want. Being able to express your feelings is actually a good thing; and there's nothing wrong with dating someone after you've broken up. <3

Today is my boyfriend's birthday and I want to give him something REALLY special. I baked him a mini cake and frosted it and were going to celebrate tonight and I made him an amigurumi airplane (something he's been begging me to make him for a LONG time). I'm really shy and even though we've been together for a while, I've never kissed him. I really want to but I always feel so nervous whenever I stand that close to him. We're really good friends and we've talked about it and he says he's dying to kiss me but he's afraid I might freak out because I've never kissed anyone before. Should I??? It is perfectly OK to be nervious about your first kiss but it sounds like this is something you really want to do. Kissing is a lot like anything else that you do in the sense that practice makes perfect. Your first kiss might be super awkward but after you get over the stress of the first one, all of your furture kisses will be much more fun.

Okay so my face and neck turns really red sometimes for no reason. In math yesterday my face turned red and one of the guys in class points it out. Then this really cute guy who sits in front of me turned around and made a joke but.it was funny not mean at all. Then as we were leaving he told me it wasn't red anymore and we joked around again and then I left. Then today my neck turned red and I was talking to the teahcher about it wand then he turned around and asked me what happened and I showed him and we takes for a little bit and then we left. So what does all this mean? Does he like me? Or is there a potential that he mouth like me? And he has a girlfriend that hes had for a while but
