Before my boyfriend asked me out, we were really good friends. He knew my locker combination, and I knew his. We would write each other funny notes on our white boards and I always had my phone sitting on my locker shelf. Well, one day, my friend told me she needed my phone so she got it out of my locker. The next day I looked at it and on the screen it said, "Wanna go out?" My crush had gotten my phone and written that! So sweet!!

A friend of mine likes me. I'm happy, because I like that person, too. But the news makes my palms sweaty, and I feel queasy. I also have trouble concentrating on my work, thinking about this stuff. I'd like that to stop. Do you have any wisdom to pass on to me?

If it helps, you could write down all your feelings in a journal to sort through them so they aren't banging around in your head, distracting you. So there's this guy in my class, lets call him D. He's really funny and nice. We're not really close, but we're friends from sitting together in math class. We've never hung out before, because we have different friends. I like him, and I think he might like me a bit. Any ideas on how I could take it a step farther than friends? I'm pretty shy, but I was thinking of sending him a valentine. Smile Any ideas for a creative valentine? not a cut out heart, but something that shows i took time to make it, but not a valentine that makes me look like a creeper lol. So any ideas? Thanks <3

Try making a few sugar cookies, decorating them, then giving them to him with a little homemade gift tag! It doesn't have to be elaborate - just something small and sweet, to show him you were thinking about him Smile Try chatting online or texting to get to know him better. Then you'll get way more comfy around each other and can talk more in person! Give it time and see where it goes!

okay so i really like this guy and i was texting him at the same time as i was texting my other friend. I was texting a list of my flaws to my friend (saying i was stupid, ugly, ect) and i accidently sent it to him. He replied and said that i was amazing and beautiful and the smartest person he knows. I was wondering if he was just saying this because he is my friend or because he might accually like me. What do you think? BTW he has a girlfriend...

Well you know as well as I do that "he has a girlfriend" means OFF LIMITS right now! It's ok to talk as friends, but try not to get wrapped up in flirting or wondering if he likes you right now. It's hard, but you're better than that! It's totally possible he likes you, but he also could have wanted to make you feel better as a friend in this situation so it's hard to tell. But try talking to him more and being there for him as a friend. Then, when he's single again, start flirting and complimenting him back. See where it goes from there!
