It’s
no secret Tom Brady is hot. The Patriots quarterback
is
married to a supermodel after all. But there’s a litter of adorable
athletes vying for our attention this Sunday, Feb. 5, and, not gonna
lie, we think they’re cuter.
Not a
football fan but still want to see some action on the field this
weekend? Animal Planet’s annual canine competition is returning
this Sunday for Puppy Bowl
VIII, with a whole new
lineup.
Putting
their best paws forward, these pups will battle it out for the title
of the Bissell MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) by carrying a chew toy into
an end zone and across the goal line. Animal Planet has searched
dozens of shelters and rescue groups across the nation for the
toughest lineup yet—no runts of the litter here!
Our
personal pick? Aberdeen,
the Australian Shepherd Mix. Being only 10 weeks old, the New York
native is bound to be full of energy and up to the challenge. He has
high ambitions, too—Aberdeen’s apparently saving to buy a
sailboat.
But the
event doesn’t just feature puppies. A piggy pep squad will be
squealing on the sidelines and a cast of cuddly kittens will wow us
all during the Bissell Kitty Half-Time Show.
