You don’t have to be a football fan
to love the Super Bowl. That’s because this special night is about
more than just sports, it’s about gathering with friends and family
to watch the most outrageous and funny commercials of the year!
Most of the time, we like to DVR our
shows so we can fast-forward through commercials, but not on Super
Bowl Sunday. There are dancing lizards, cute kids, singing divas. The
creativity is limitless.
So before you
check out what the brands have in store for us tonight, re-watch
these hilarious ads from years past.
Pepsi and Britney Spears
When it first came out over 10 years
ago, we were going crazy…and we still are! Britney is so cute and
loveable in the ad. Thinking about it, we might go grab a Pepsi right
now.
SoBe Life Water: Thrillicious
OK, we know we get the funny gecko from
Geico commercials, but in this 2008 ad we get a wholeee bunch of
lizards…and they’re dancing…to Michael Jackson! Cute,
hilarious, and a must-see for sure.
Snickers and Betty White
Betty White has been around forever,
yet she still remains one of the funniest women on TV. Maybe it’s
because she is so old that anything she says is just hysterical.
Either way, this commercial is no exception to her humor. Betty White
playing football is something everyone should see.

For the Detroit Lions—and
Eminem—fans, this one’s for you!
SoBe Life Water: Lizard Lake
Okay, so SoBe doesn’t only like to
have dancing lizards in their commercials. This time they decided to
have some football stars show off their wonderful ballet skills in
“Lizard Lake,” SoBe’s version of “Swan Lake.” Manly
footballers doing ballet, what more could you ask for in a Super Bowl
commercial?
Doritos: Pug Attack
There were SO many Doritos commercials
that aired last year, but this one was def one of the best. We mean,
who doesn’t love when the underdog wins? Literally, the dog in the
video actually wins…
Nationwide: Rollin’ VIP
We all know that Britney Spears is one
of the biggest pop names out there, but what about her ex-husband,
Kevin Federline? Well this ad shows us what happened to him after he
and Ms. Spears broke up.
E*Trade: Girlfriend
Who could ever forget the famous
E*Trade commercials that star only babies? Talking babies to be
specific. This is one of GL’s favorites though! So cute and funny.
